Ukraine: Your guide to tonight’s Junior Eurovision selection

Tonight Ukraine will pick their entrant and song for Junior Eurovision 2015 — and we are ready for an extravaganza! The selection will take place inside the fancy Olmeca Plage beach complex at the river Dnipro in Kyiv. A 50/50 jury-televoting combo will determine the winner, and in case of a tie, the jury vote will prevail.

Ukraine’s Eurovision veterans Zlata Ognevich and Oleksandr Ponomariov will entertain the viewers, while local celebs Timur Miroshnychenko and Roman Koliada will host.

The running order draw took place two days ago in the studio of NTU. The contest will begin with performance of the show-group VoiceLand and will finish with Viktoriya Svyatogor.

Our readers binge listened to the entries and voted for their favorite, resulting in a battle between two ladies – Anna Trincher and Viktoriya Svyatohor. In the end, the lovely Anna Trincher and her rock-ish entry “Pochny z sebe” came out on top with 347 votes, or 34.19% of all those cast. Viktoriya Svyatogor came second with her entry “Sylna”, earning 27% of all votes. Last year’s runner-up Nina Boykova came third.
