Who can forget Il Volo and their eternal quest for their “Grande Amore?” Definitely not us! Today the trio continue their quest for the one by waxing and waning on love’s power in their new release “L’amore si muove” (“Love moves”). While “L’amore si muove” follows the tried-and-true formula of classical voices with modern arrangements, it’s by no means a copy of “Grande Amore”. It has a different energy, a different sound (more Iganzio), and is a real eargasm.

“L’amore si muove” — Il Volo

Francesco Renga co-authored the song. As Italian web site Euro Festival News points out, the song is “in effect a cover of Nel nome del padre [In the Name of the Father]” from Regna’s 2004 album Camere in vista.

Since Eurovision Il Volo have been beyond busy. They’ve done a PBS special in the US, toured Italy, released their 2016 North American tour dates, and Ignazio even adopted a horse named Walter.

As future housewife and granny I totally get their appeal

“Grande amore” was massive and bold and romantic and had wide appeal. But all the songs Il Volo have released before, all the songs they’ve released since go back to that safe “nice young men” niche – the housewives and grannys demographic. Ok, that’s what sells for them, but it would be nice to see some of the “Grande amore” spirit return.

Gianluca & Piero are really hottie babes <3

@ Oostenrijk amigo you like these erotic dreams don't you? 😉 <3
You naughty boy 😉
I think that both Gianluca & Piero are either homosexuals or bisexuals at least…They transmit to me this homoerotic vibes that they must be themselfs into guys <3 🙂 Although Ignazio seems like the typical straight guy..

It seems like these guys can do no wrong as three equal entities. Only one question remains: who’s the father, who’s the son, and who’s the holy Moly?
@Oostenrijk – Were you channeling a certain legend? in any case, the end should have been you letting them go through your back entrance as a shortcut to the glory hall. That would’ve got an overwhelming applause.

Our EuroVision & the charts do not match together at all…
The only that matters is how much impact does every act of these 40 leaves to us eurofans…
One of the most succesful acts of this year’s Vision that managed to win us are IL VOLO <3 Their music will be popular in eurofans…About the rest others listeners audience that are not even fans of EuroVision we do not care..

Now i was informed that *Il Volo* means *The Flight* in english <3 🙂

Nice song… <3 I really like their voices & the passion that they sing their songs.. <3
One of my most favorite acts from Vienna's Vision <3
I favor especially Gianluca & Pierro <3 Although Ignacio is ok too..
I think that Il Volo is the act that has the greatest potentials to launch an international music career among all the rest other acts from 2015 EuroVision..

I love this new song ! <3 <3 <3 The song has a great and strong energy ,has the power to evoke melancholic, sentimental, but also romantic emotion , but it is catchy and one has the desire to sing along the chorus. The sound is more modern and different than on the previous albums, but the voices of boys are again in splendid harmony. In my opinion it's fantastic and impressive song, I expect that it could finally be good enough for playing in radios, excellent new piece of Il Volo ! Ragazzi, meraviglioso canzone ! <3

Not as good as “Grande Amore” in my opinion, but the new album scheduled for release next month might be worth a listen. (For clarity, I’m not an Il Volo “fan”; I just like the Italian entry this year and thought it might win.) But I do listen to quite a bit of “Classical Crossover” music, (Sarah Brightman being a favourite,) which the media like to call “Popera”. Many confuse this sound with Opera, but it is really classical music trained voices mixed with pop which makes it more marketable, not as singles, but more as albums. Singing Opera takes… Read more »

I’ve seen their PBS special, filmed in Italy yet they spoke in English. I can’t but think some Italian spectators sitting there thinking “What?” Good show tho.

Tonight I had a GreAtY dream about Il Volo and how they won Eurovision in Vienna and how I had backstage access and was there for poor Ignazio, who was upset that Gianluca and Piero got to f with all the girls and he didn’t. So we had a lot of french kissing going on together. until we realised it’s time for the winner’s reprise. Gianluca and Piero were buttnaked and the sofa was completely wasted and full of dirty stains. However my sister fixed it somehow and we were all happily applauding Il Volo for the fantastic win of… Read more »
