Following Slovenia’s Junior Eurovision debut with Ula Lozar in 2014, RTVSLO have released the full details for the inaugural Mini EMA. The contest will consist of two semi-finals and a final, and will be incorporated into Vikend Packet, a Sunday afternoon show. The semi-finals are set for 20 and 27 September, with the final scheduled for 4 October.
Each semifinal will feature three acts, with a jury choosing just one act to progress to the final. The general public will then decide which of the two finalists will fly the Slovenian flag in Sofia next September.
But what acts will battle it out for the ticket to Junior Eurovision?
Mini EMA 2015 Semi-finalists:
Tina Vinter “Brez okov”
Jaka & Maks “Full of Energy”
Leni “Najlepši dan”
Lina Kunduzovic “Prva ljubezen”
Rekeba Salter “S tabo (Let You Go)”
Janina Klenovšek “Sonce v ogledalu”
The six competing songs are yet to be published.

@ Oh ok then guys… 🙂 Yeah i must misunderstood this indeed as it seems..
But ok…I have done bigger mistakes than this here on WB..
My mind is not 100% focused all the time & i might get the wrong idea about something i read..
I keep thinking about different kind of things in my mind at the same time so its tough 4 me..
Anyway.. Thanks 4 providing me the correct information.. 🙂
@Mario – it’s called a ‘Mini Ema’ because only 1! song out of 3 will qualify from each semi final, which means that the final will consist of just 2 songs and NOT 4.
That’s why I suggested you read it again because you got the wrong idea…
@ Hey Erin
Ok i checked again the wiwi article & my comment made sense to me though…Maybe it was kinda confusing but it seemed ok to me..
@Mario Erin’s point regarding your not so GreAtY comment, is that only one act from each semi will make it to the final, meaning that there will only be two acts in the final.
Mario, you made up an imaginary sce(n)Mario, dahling. If you bother to read that news story from start to finish again, you’ll realize how you got your wires crossed.
Well… Just only 3 acts will exist on each SemiFinal heat of the 2 SFs with 2 acts in each SF getting the qualifying ticket 4 the Final of EMA.. 6 acts overall…Well it makes you wonder why they need to have not only 1 but 2 Semifinals when they could put all these 6 acts in a single Final.. Anyway…4 from the 6 acts will qualify & only 2 unlucky acts will not have the pleasure to compete to the Final.. Their 1st sLOVEnian act in JESC managed to finish 12th from the 16 acts.. Hopefully sLOVEnia will manage… Read more »
For all its worth, I hope for JAKA & MAKS – “FULL OF ENERGY” to win. Sounds like an exciting entry
Really hoping Maraaya wrote one of these songs. They’re like Slovenian Eurovision royalty.
Nisi Sam was marvellous even if I was very disappointed about its placement, I was sure of a top5 for Slovenia last year :c So, Slovenia, take your revenge.
Hope we send a good entry.
