Funny to see Eurovision fans (a show that is supposed to send a message for tolerance and acceptance, even though a light entertainment show) show all their hatred, their ignorance and their bigotry in the comments here. 🙂 Jeez, humans get me depressed…

What worries me is this huge belief that by allowing Syrians and other middle eastern people to find a safe place to live in Europe, a potential WW3 will take place anytime in the future and this time echoing the fears and concerns from a shaken and wounded USA since the events of September 11 2001. We don’t really know if every single person desperate to get to Germany to find work and a better life is a political, cultural and religious threat … but on the other hand these people come from places where dealing with different cultures and… Read more »

Also, countries that have financed instability in Syria, such as USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are being mum. So much for helping their Muslim brothers and sisters.

Although no one is saying it aloud, I think the primary concern for most Europeans is that most refugees are Muslims and they think they would not be able to fit in their societies, but that they will demand welfare and right to build mosques and use sharia laws among the members of their community. I don’t say this is true, but I think that is the main concern.

I wonder what singer Boggie thinks about her country’s handling of the Syrian refugee crisis, especially after her anti-war message on ‘Wars for Nothing’ just a few months ago. It’s easy to empathize with victims of war as long as they don’t knock on your own borders in masses… I don’t know how Sweden would react in real time when faced with a similar situation like Hungary and thankfully it doesn’t have to put it into test at the moment, but there’s no denying that the Hungarian government did everything to hassle the refugees and make their ordeal more miserable… Read more »

Do not be naive. Let this influx of mainly muslim people continue and we can all kiss goodbye to ESC, Pride, entertainment, LGBT and so on. Infact we can kiss goodbye to all our liberties and life itself once that caliphate is established. Tolerance of the intolerant equals suicide.

The people that are in real need cant even afford to be smugggled or buy train tickets in the first place. This influx is not a refugee influx, more like a settler influx. The people in real need are left behind.

Malena is not right, I have to say. As a Hungarian I know what’s going on here. I still say, that we should help the refugees some way, but that behavior thses days don’t suggest, that (of coure I’m not talking about all of them, just the majority) they would deserve it. When the refugees cross the border of Hungary they enter Schengen territory, and as such it’s Hungary’s job to registrate them, if they fail to do so, that the country might be thown out of the Schengen Agreement. So they built up camps for the refugees, where they… Read more »

I am not sure if Conchita would be safe in a refugee camp or in countries like Syria, Turkey, Iraq…..

Malene’s right, Europe seems to have a very short memory. How many refugees were there during WWII and the Cold War? And who illegally invaded and enslaved the nations that these refugees are coming from in the first place? Kinda hypocritical to turn away “invading humans” when your country did the same thing to most of these nations 🙂

They destroy their countries. But it’s fair. France, UK, Portugal and Belgium once enslaved many nations. That’s revenge.

1) Conchita Wurst is not “she”! He is he!
2) Say no to islam in Europe!
