In Georgia performing at Eurovision can only send your career in one direction: up, up, up! The latest ESC stars to prove the point are Anri Jokhadze and Nodi Tatishvili, both of whom have accepted gigs as coaches on The Voice of Georgia. The next series kicks off in October.
The third coach is the vocalist Keta Topuria from the (mostly) Kazakh band ”A Studio”. You’ll remember them as the group that Tomas N’evergreen, one of Denmark’s Eurovision 2010 singers, collaborated with on his single “Falling for You”.
The fourth judge is singer Nutsa Shanshiashvili.
Nodi Tatishvili and Sophie Gelovani worked dramatic staging in Malmö with the song “Waterfall”, which qualified from the second semi-final of the 58th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 and placed 15th in the final, scoring 50 points. Nodi went on to compete on Georgia’s edition of Dancing with the Stars.
Anri didn’t have as much luck: he failed to qualify for the grand final in 2012.
I agree with Mario about Nodi. Why didn’t I meet someone like that when I was in Tbilisi ?
I hope Nodi can find some talent. I am still getting over Anri & Nina.
Anri’s voice is amazing and he is really talented. Right choice!
