Tonight in the Netherlands four acts sang, but only two could advance to the final of Junior Songfestival 2015 — the country’s national selection for Junior Eurovision.
After a series of strong performances, Shalisa and Guusje emerged as the two winners of the first semi-final. The result was pretty clear: they received the most points from the kids’ jury, the adult jury and the televoters.
The girls left their competitors Daniël and Katrina behind, but they could still make it to the final as the fifth finalist, via a wild card which will be awarded later.
First Semi Final Results
The jurors awarded each contestant 8, 9, 10 or 12 points for their performance. And this year the public could do the same. Viewers rated performances on the Junior Songfestival website. Although these home ratings were shown during the show, they didn’t count as part of the televoting.

I think the dancing was too much for her, she was quite out of breath after the performance.
I thought Katrina sang just fine. She and Shalisa should have been the two finalists.
I am Dutch, and i voted for Shalisa, i hope she wins so much! I am angry of Guusje qualifyng, Katrina was WAY better.

Bad JSF semi final: Katrina had an annoying song, Daniel is creepy and Guusje and Shalisa were both terribly boring. Hoping for a better show next week because it looks like Shalisa will win and she wouldn’t do well in Bulgaria 🙁
Shalisa really suprised me and went from no thanks to yes please. I think Katrina might get the wildcard, at least I hope so. She sang a bit out of tune.
