On July 17, RTVSLO of Slovenia announced their plans for Junior Eurovision 2015 – and that included introducing Mini EMA, the junior version of their adult Eurovision selection show EMA.

Two semifinals were held, in which a three-member jury picked one participant from each semifinal to progress to the final. They are Lina Kuduzovic and Leni.

Below you can listen to their songs and then vote for your favorite. You can vote only ONE time. The voting closes on Sunday at 15:00 CET – so only a tad more than 24 hours. You better think fast, sugar!

This Sunday, only the televote will decide a winner. Who is yours and why? Feel free to tell us below!

MINI EMA 2015 PARTICIPANTS:

LENI – NAJLEPSI DAN

This inserts the Junior in Junior Eurovision. The la-la-la part makes us think of Ivi Adamou.

LINA KUDUZOVIC – PRVA LJUBEZEN

She once beat Maja Keuc on Slovenia’s Got Talent. Her entry is composed by our favorite husband-wife duo Maraaya.

We all know that Lina will win. Same author wrote last year entry , but this song is so much weaker song, last song was one of favorites to won at this bloogs and many fans but they only finished 12 of 16 coutries in JESC 2014. With Lina song, same result for Slovenia this year or worst 12 to 16 place in final

Lina’s song is sooo overrated, that really annoys me … it’s just because her song was written by Maraaya. Plus is nothing special and very mainstream.
Leni’s song on the other hand is very fresh, very unique, it’s uptempo (sick of all this ballads) and could really stand out!

Lina, with a magrin of i don’t know how many points. Shalisa already won i saw it, i am Dutch. Lina might even win the whole thing. The last time it wasn’t a ballad winning was in 2011 so…

Lina of course, but Leni isn’t horrible. They were both my winners of their respective semis.

Lina, without doubt. It’s even winner material and you are saying “nah, it’s a ballad, let’s choose this song that is more upbeat..” when we know it would come nowhere. If you are upset that there are no upbeat songs, blame the Netherlands since they failed to send Katrina. Plus pretty sure Malta will be a little upbeat as well as San Marino, Macedonia, Ireland etc… There’s always a possibility yet.

Sorry for ranting. 🙂 But Slovenia can’t reject Lina, purely because she could just be “another ballad”.

@jt

I personally would not like 17 slow songs in JESC this year. So when there is a opportunity a pop song will go to JESC, I am fully behind that.

Well i will not really mind if any of these 2 songs win in EMA tomorrow..
Both of them are nice..
But since last year the winner song of Italia that won was called *First Love* too it will be not the best 4 Lina to go to Sofia with the song that has similar identical name…This can possibly decrease Slovenia’s chance to win in Bulgaria..

It amazes me how we’re only 4 songs in and people are already complaining about ballads. Why is there so much hate on ballads anyway? I’ll never understand! Lina should hands down win, her song is 1000 times better. Lenis is more suitable for jesc? Who cares it sucks!
