You may remember Sara Dall’Olio from The Peppermints, who represented San Marino at Junior Eurovision 2014 with the song “Breaking my Heart”. Her co-Peppermint Anita Simoncini showed us a “Chain of Lights” with Michele Perniola this year in Vienna, but now it’s time for Sara to show us she has big dreams too.

The young Italian-Sammarinese singer will compete in the newcomers section of Area Sanremo 2015, the only open call for the Sanremo Music Festival. And she’s not entering alone! Sara has teamed up with the young Italian singer Manuel Zamagni to form the new duo Let’s Pop.

Sara and Manuel recently went through a full week of masterclasses and auditions for Sanremo and are now resting in beautiful Milan. We don’t yet know if Let’s Pop was selected for the live shows, but our fingers are crossed.

“Insieme a Me” is rumoured to be their audition song. And as it’s only just over three minutes, we’re thinking if Sanremo doesn’t happen for Let’s Pop in 2016, San Marino might be interested in securing this new and talented duo for Stockholm.

What do you think about Let’s Pop? Are they a good act for the Sanremo Music Festival? Would San Marino be smart to enter a boy-girl duet two years in a row? Let us know your thoughts!

It’s best of the Peppermints entered Sanremo 2016 instead of having to do solo acts.
