As Slovenia continue their preparations for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Sofia, state broadcaster RTV Slovenija is working it on multiple fronts. Today RTVSLO announced that it will once again use the EMA national final to find its adult representative. For the winner, the next stop is Stockholm!

Having confirmed their participation for Stockholm back in September, RTVSLO have scheduled EMA 2016 to take place sometime in February. Further details have yet to be revealed.
EMA 2015 brought us one of the pre-contest fan favourites Maraaya. The husband-and-wife duo finished 14th in the final at Vienna earlier this year with their entry “Here For You”. They’ve picked themselves up to release a hot post-Eurovision single, and will be in Sofia to cheer on their JESC protege Lina Kuduzovic.

Maja Keuc + Maraaya= the most super-amazing Eurovision team EVER. They where both underrated, because they needed a 1st place in their own year. Slovenia 2015 was the best song EVER.
