Junior Eurovision 2015 exploded in all its LED glory yesterday with the start of first rehearsals. (Watch all of them here). We saw some amazing backdrops and fab dance moves, and listened to some stunning vocals and harmonies. So it’s the perfect time to pause and see who our readers are getting behind in our ongoing poll, “Who should win Junior Eurovision 2015?”
The following results were accurate as of Monday evening, November 16 at 22:00 CET. At that time we had counted 5,338 votes from our readers. The poll has been neck-and-neck for weeks, but following first rehearsals Georgia’s “The Virus” have pulled into a commanding lead. They currently have 1,469 votes, or around 27% of all those cast. That puts them more than 800 votes ahead of Russia’s Mikhail Smirnov. It looks like Tbilisi’s virus really is spreading…
Here’s what we thought of their song when we first heard it in October:
Malta’s Destiny Chukunyere, who has been generating quite a bit of buzz, currently sits in third place. She finished first with the Wiwi Jury — our in-house panel of musical unprofessionals — and was vocally on-point during her first rehearsal.

Guys get over Georgia, they usually have a voting promotion of some sort.
The song of Georgia is terrible! I don’t understand why people like the song? They send always this kind of songs, Candy Music was fun, but if you send almost every year that kind of songs, people don’t like it anymore. I hope that they don’t win this year. I hope that The Netherlands, Slovenia, San Marino, Malta or Australia will win the contest this year. May the best win!
Why does everyone love Georgia? The song is terrible
WTF?… One of the worst songs this year…

In my opinion girl from Ireland sounds very special. Very magic.
Of course they’ll win, just like Nina did.
