uThe jury final of Junior Eurovision 2015 takes place this evening, and the kiddies had their first complete run-through earlier this afternoon. My guess is as good as everyone else’s, so I would say this:
The most memorable songs are from Slovenia, Serbia, Australia, Malta, Ireland and Armenia. However, San Marino has a chorus without a song and a dress that overshadows a singer. I don’t believe voters are that shallow that all they care about is being bewitched, bedazzled and bewildered by big money and deep pocket, so I would go for any one of the 5 above mentioned songs as potential winners.

I think Malta (great voice, soul!), Australia (great voice, modern and powerful song) and Armenia (very memerable song, makes people happy) will be in the top 3, but I hope Slovenia will win it. Lina is a fantastic natural singer singer and the song is modern and sounds like it has layers of feelings to it. Dark horses: Russia (very good singer, song sounds better than before), San Marino (modern song, impressive staging), Albania (very kid-friendly and catchy tune), Ireland (very different style, amazing voice).

Based on the jury final before the main show (the one with audience and fake voting) my top is: 16. Georgia – Sorry but live this is too annoying 15. Montenegro – Bland and her vocals are weak 14. Albania – I actually forgot about it >< The song had potential but the staging was bad – extremely unfitting. Still I heard someone singing it after the show so the song isn`t bad in any way. 13. Time for the truth about all entries: Serbia – totally incoherent and unsettled entry Georgia – total chaos Slovenia – very professional, my prediction is 3rd place because this country is not strong and starting position is bad Italy – very similar to Serbia Netherlands – weak and depressing Australia – winner Ireland – ultra weak and antiquated, probably last place Russia – solid entry, strong country and good starting position, 2nd place is my prediction Macedonia – chaos Belarus – generally weak entry Armenia – oversized and blunt Ukraine – also blunt Bulgaria – weak and chaotic San Marino… Read more »

Very happy with how much Netherlands has improved, but I’m surprised they ditched the dancers on the big screen (until very very late in the song). I think something went wrong with the connection to the big screen tho? Seems odd if they really wouldn’t use the big screen at all.
