The Netherland’s 2015 Eurovision representative Trijntje Ooosterhuis has ended the year on a big high, welcoming a new daughter to the world. The Dutch singer made the announcement via Instagram today, saying that Maël Joni was born on December 8. Congratulations!
The caption reads:
On Tuesday 8 December at 14:03, our sweet, pretty, beautiful daughter Maël Joni Ronde was born. Little sister of Jonas, Marijn and Eljah. We all feel proud, lucky and blessed with the arrival of this girl. We enjoy every second of her pure beauty and tender sweetness. Bless, Alvin & Trijntje
Maël Joni is Trijntje Oosterhuis’s third biological child. Her boyfriend Alvin Lewis also has a son from a previous relationship, but Trijntje has raised him as her own. Congratulations to all!
Trijntje hasn’t had her best year, what with that dress, not qualifying for the Grand Final with “Walk Along”, winning the Barbara Dex award, and her friend Anouk throwing some serious shade. But we are very happy to see that she is winning at life. All’s well when it ends well!
