The wait is almost over, y’all! Today Spain’s national broadcaster RTVE announced that all six songs competing to win the national final will be revealed on Wednesday, beginning at 17H00 CET. Along with the songs, we’ll get to know three of the six acts in competition —Salvador Béltran, Maverick and Eletric Nana — with special coverage on the official site of the broadcaster. We’ll also get some more information about the national final, which will have, for the first time ever, an international jury member.
Spain’s 30-second song snippets
But if you’re to eager to get to know all six entries, RTVE has a treat for you! Tomorrow it will release 30 second clips of each song. Exciting, don’t you think?! The hashtag #euroavance is going to be on fire all week long, after Spain’s Head of Delegation Federico Llano said that 2016 is Spain’s year to win Eurovision.
In recent years Spanish artists have brought quality entries to the contest and watched their careers flourish afterwards. Pastora Soler and Ruth Lorenzo are considered Eurovision divas, Edurne rocked Vienna — despite her final result — and Soraya is giving concerts to foetuses. Maybe one of these six hopefuls has what it takes to join this group of talented ladies…
Salvador Béltran, Maverick, Xuso Jones, María Isabel, Eletric Nana and Barei will fight for the coveted ticket to Stockholm. Are you excited to listen to the snippets tomorrow and the songs Wednesday?! Tell us below!
