We’ve been saying yay all week long, y’all! That’s because Barei has emerged as the hot favourite to win Objetivo Eurovisión, Spain’s national selection for Eurovision 2016. “Say Yay,” her upbeat ode to perseverance, has already topped iTunes in Spain and she seems well on her way to pop stardom. Given all that wiwibloggers Diego and William just had to get up close and personal with her.
In the two-part interview, which you can watch below, Barei tells us that, without a record label to support her, she has been “swimming up the river” on her own for years. Her emotional roller coaster led her to write “Say Yay,” which is her attempt to exorcise the “Mr. Danger” character she sings about. She makes us smile with her positive attitude — and even makes us wiggle when she drops a beat live on Skype.
Are you ready for an emotional rollercoaster? Then don’t miss the interview below…

Great choice of picture for her Wiwibloggs profile 😛
Barei!! Best of luck tonight! Spain vote accordingly
Barei is the far best! <3
I think William has a crush on Xuso hahah. Regardless, I want him to win
This Girl is on fire! <3
Not a chance. For me, Maria Isabel’s “La vida solo es una” better than ‘Say Yay’. I hope the National Jury and International Jury make up for the Public Voting. I am sorry, Barei, but Maria Isabel will go to Stockholm.
COME ON, MARIA ISABEL! WIN IT FOR SPAIN!
William, but you prefer Xuso 😉 We know it 🙂
I’ve probably written a similar comment a half dozen times, so once more can’t hurt: Please, Spain, choose Barei!
For me, Victorious by Xuso is much better than ‘Say Yay’. I hope the National Jury and International Jury make up for the Public Voting. But unfornately, I think she’ll go.
COME ON XUSO!! TOGETHER AS ONE
