OGAE Latvia have just released details for Eurovision PreParty Riga 2016, the Baltics’ biggest Eurovision bash. Now in its third year, the 2016 event will take place on 2 April in the city’s Spikeri Concert Hall at 20.00 local time. Ticket cost €12 and can be purchased HERE. Once again, it will feature a host of stars from the upcoming contest, along with a handful of familiar faces from years gone by.
Eurovision PreParty Riga 2015 – Performances
In honour of the Eurovision 2016 hosts, the main theme of the night will be Sweden. Partygoers will be able to help themselves to some traditional Swedish cuisine, visit a special exhibition and even watch a film about the country. The Swedish Embassy will support the event.
The line-up has yet to be finalised, but in the past they’ve managed to attract Conchita Wurst, Alexander Rybak and Eldar Gasimov — so expect some big names. The 2015 concert featured performances from 12 acts.
