It’s week five in Lithuania’s newly extended Eurovizija 2016 selection. Tonight we’ll see ten acts take to the stage, but only eight will continue to the next round.
For the past fortnight, we’ve been asking y’all to vote for your favourites in our poll. After counting 507 votes, we can now reveal the singers you want to see progress. Topping the poll with 105 votes or 21% of all votes cast, is Ani Lorak lookalike and powerhouse vocalist Aiste Pilvelyte with “You Bet”.

In second place we have Ruslanas Kirilkinas with “In My World”. The former Finnish Idol contestant picked up 72 votes, or 14% of all votes cast.

Rounding out the top three, we have Ieva Zasimauskaite and “Life (Not That Beautiful)”. The singer, who last competed in 2014, amassed a total of 54 votes, 11% of all votes cast.

How can it be such a huge (the maximum possible) difference between the votes of readers here, the televoting in Lithuania and the jury in Lithuania all of them giving the highest score to Aiste (with a big difference with the second),and the jury here giving the minimum? are you for real wiwi jury? and when one see who are your favorites here, it is like ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Aiste has one of the best songs in the whole competition – revamp the song if she is chosen, Lithuania will gain their first top ten in ten years.
“Mayday” by Baiba is a guilty pleasure, and I hope she qualifies to the next stage. Could easily be Madonna’s early material!

I remerber The Common Linnets you ranked 4.4 and they came second. So i agree with you The Wiwi Jury – you are really un-professionals.
Aiste is one of the best from Lithuanian selection along with Donny and Erica , you made a mistake when you did not put her higher , she deserved at least minimum 8 because that song is really magnificent , not just her flawless voice 😀 Shame on you Wiwijury , you disappointed me , I will never believe in your scores :/
