Earlier today Edyta Gorniak confirmed that she’ll participate in Poland’s national selection for Eurovision 2016. But it’s not going to be a walk in the park for the ESC veteran. Among those standing in her way is Margaret, a local star and long-rumoured Eurovision representative, who has confirmed that she will sing “Cool Me Down” in the selection. She might be asking us to cool her down, but after watching this kielbasa-filled video, many of you will be heating up…
Margaret – Thank you very much
Margaret made the announcement and presented her song earlier this evening on Poland’s RMF radio. That followed a Facebook post Margaret made earlier in the evening, in which she wrote “Big news!”
The Eurovision Poland Twitter account lit up in celebration.

Who is Margaret?
Margaret is a 24-year old singer who rose to fame three years ago with her hit “Thank you very much”. Almost immediately afterwards she became a fan favourite to represent the country once it had returned to the Eurovision game. She also appeared in countless online song contests run by fans and YouTube Tops videos. People went crazy about her and her video.
She followed up with the EP “All I need” and a CD entitled “Add the blonde” (which is most suitable for today’s announcement). She’s also sung on the soundtrack of a TV serial, and she was behind the official song of the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship. It was called “Start a Fire” (hey, Dilara).
it looks like it there will be a hot battle in the Polish NF!

I’ve wanted Margaret to represent Poland since they returned, but I never thought this would happen. Pleaseeee Poland vote for her. Part of me thinks she has it in the bag, as she won Best Polish Act at the last EMAs and is arguably one of Poland’s biggest pop stars now, but I don’t wanna jinx anything.
my dream come true
I hope it was Margaret represent Poland at Eurovision 2016
