Another week, another headache. Prepare your hot chocolate or your morning coffee (Hello, Australia!) and get ready for another amazing Saturday of Eurovision 2016 national selections. We’re still on the road to the glorious Super Saturday, but this week you’ll still have plenty of work connecting to all the live streams and crying when your favourites get knocked out.

Tonight Iceland is going to choose their act for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest as excitement keeps building around Songvakeppnin 2016. Sweden, Hungary, Finland, Lithuania and Estonia will also continue their search for that one special song, because after all, “The winner takes it all” and we’re beyond excited to discover who they will be.

As ever, you can follow all the results on the wiwibloggs website and on our various social media platforms — including Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Facebook.

After two weeks of intense semi-finals it is finally time to learn which song and artist will fly to Stockholm and defend the Icelandic flag. Greta Salóme is the runaway favourite in a final where every single song, except Elisabet Ormslev’s, is going to be sung in English. Eurovision 1986 and 2012 winners Sandra Kim and Loreen will also perform. A 50/50 televote and jury will be used to determine the superfinalists, where a 100% televote system will determine the outright winner.

@HelmaR and it goes on and on until Denmark withdraws from Eurovision.

Until they change their mind and start it over and over again until the selected one is David Jay when it is semifinal and Denmark don’t qualify(Even though I like “Rays of sunlight”)
