From Tanzania to Sweden, and from Norrkoping to Halmstad, SaRaha has slayed her way into the final of Melodifestivalen 2016. On Wednesday evening, as she prepared to cross the finish line in Stockholm, she indulged in cocktails and good cheer at the Melfest Welcome party. wiwibloggs was on-the-scene and just had to pull her to the side and learn more about this African beauty — who is also one of the biggest surprises of 2016.

We asked SaRaha about defeating ISA — an artist with a huge reputation here in Sweden — in Andra Chansen. You can see she’s really happy, but the Tanzanian kept it diplomatic. “She’s really professional and her song is good and it’s a beautiful show.”

If “Kizunguzungu” puts a bright smile on your face, wait until you hear this: SaRaha is going to jump directly from the Melfest stage to the studio. Get happy! Summer is almost here and SaRaha’s new music is too!

Love her! I’m not expecting her to win, but I’ve been liking her song more and more and right now is my top favourite.

It certainly is a very catchy and happy song. All the best in the finals, SaRaha.
