Ahead this weekend’s Melodifestivalen final, the artists have been busy rehearsing their performances and ironing out their vocals and backing. Ahead of the madness, Lisa Ajax, Robin Bengtsson, and Frans still found time to pose for the cameras to record music videos for their #melfest entries.
Lisa Ajax – “My Heart Wants Me Dead”
Melodifestivalen debutant Lisa Ajax reached the final from the third heat together with Oscar Zia. In the music video Lisa is giving face — and that’s about it. For whole entire three minutes, we see Lisa singing in front of a white screen. Her heart may want her dead, but she is oozing life!

Robin Bengtsson – “Constellation Prize”
Robin is also keeping it simple in the music video for “Constellation Prize”. This must have been an easy job for the editor — the music video is basically one shot. Robin stares at you with his beautiful eyes and does his best to tunnel into your soul. Is it too late to change the performance? This is simple but fierce.

Frans – “If I Were Sorry”
Frans has decided to tell the story of his song, and the video sees Frans madly in love and getting all romantic with his lady on a bridge, the grass and in what appears to be an abandoned house. But as the video progresses their feelings cool. Frans makes it clear that he is not sorry about this.

I was impatiently waiting for a music video for Constellation Prize and you give me this Robin? 😛 Please tell me what Loo says is true and this is not the definite video!
The idea is good but the execution is.. awkward. I think Mariette did it right with Don’t Stop Believing last year, that’s how you do a simple video of basically just the artist singing to the camera.
Loo which is the reason that makes you think that only Frans can be a good choice and not Robin?

Robin’s video is the not the official music video. It will be released next week.
However, tonight is the dress rehearsal of MF and I think that Frans will just get a even bigger momentum after that. The audience will go bananas over him.
