Despite being the bookies’ favourite in the early days of Melodifestivalen 2016, Molly Sandén couldn’t live up to the hype. Wiwibloggs caught up with the “Youniverse” singer immediately after the Melfest final and discovered that she’s not letting her sixth place finish get to her.
Miss “Youniverse” was keeping it calm and cool and managed to put on her happy face. “I didn’t get the feelings you usually get,” she explained.
Molly said she’s in a very good phase of her life and career, and will go direkt to the studio to start working on new music and her summer tour. Amen to that! We hope that she and Danny Saucedo keep serving that loved-up, musical partnership realness.
And we are pretty sure that they will! As Aftonbladet reports, Danny proposed to Molly after the show. She said yes — and the pair were absolutely glowing during our selfie session.

She would’ve been disappointed if she hadn’t been proposed to.

But she has to be disappointed. She was the hot favourite ahead of the Melodifestivalen to win. And she came sixth.. with a decent song.
Had she performed a better song.. more uptempo.. I think she could have won ahead of frans
I’m actually glad she didn’t win! Frans does not have a fair chance now because of Sweden’s previous victory. Hopefully she comes back with vengence and something similar to Freak in a few years. Go Molly!
