She’s a Canadian singer living in Switzerland, and her life is all about the back-and-forth.
And on Saturday evening Rykka — Switzerland’s Eurovision 2016 star — landed in Riga for the Eurovision Pre-Party Riga 2016.
The dirty-pop starlet, who wore a sexy black spaghetti strap top, told us that nature is a major source of inspiration.
In fact, nature will provide the inspiration for her staging in Stockholm — and it will differ significantly from what we saw at Die Entscheidungsshow.

Rykka also revealed that she’s working on a music video for her song “The Last of our Kind,” though she didn’t reveal whether we’ll get it before the Eurovision.
More certain is that her new album, which will feature her Eurovision song and her previous single “Movies“, will be out by the fall — and maybe even the summer.
As a Swiss-Canadian, the comparisons between Rykka and Céline Dion are somewhat automatic at this point. But she’s not feeling any extra pressure. Rykka sees this as a “funny coincidence”. Will the coincidence continue — and potentially lead to a win? Let us know in the comments section below!
Her semi final performance will soon be an improvement from her NF performance. I wonder if she will keep her hair as curly or straight because she looks good with a straight hair.
She is singing a song that she can’t reach the highest notes. The same thing happens to Lidia Isac, from Moldova.
Was it me, or did she give a few deathstares in that interview? XD But I really hope she does well.
If this song was defended by a competent singer, it would be top-10 automatically.
Truly a shame.
Switzerland is so underrated this year 🙁
The song is absolutely gorgeous. She can sing and some backvocalists in some parts will fit very well
I love her song, altough I like “Movies” even better. Go Rykka! Slay in Stockholm 🙂
Céline Dion? Really? Rykka has absolutely no control over her voice. The parts where she hits the notes sound nice, but the rest are absolutely atrocious to listen to. Granted, it is a quite challenging song, but one vital rule is to choose a song that fits your vocal range.
