She’s one of Albania’s best-known TV personalities and a fashion inspiration to thousands.
And on Sunday Eneda Tarifa showed London what she’s got as she met up with wiwibloggers Deban and William at the London Eurovision Party.
We may have been a bit harsh about the revamp of her Eurovision 2016 song, but Eneda was the essence of grace and good humour as we had a chat on the streets of London.
Eneda Tarifa interview at London Eurovision Party
Speaking of the revamp, Eneda explained that she had to shorten the song and wanted to make it feel more rhythmic for Eurovision. She felt that English lyrics fit that style better than Albanian ones.
She also discussed the stairway to heaven and swinging clocks of her music video. Eneda had to work with a tight budget, but did her best to give you a bit of wow with the funds she had available. In that light, we have new-found respect for her visual fairytale. Regardless of the background, she looked very expensive.
Eneda sings Fairytale live at London Eurovision Party
Eneda’s 14-year-long musical career has turned her into a major star in her homeland.
If and when she walks on the streets people recognise her, which may explain why this beautiful diva is more likely to be found in a car than on the pavement! She travels in style.
But when she does hit the streets, she knows how to work it as you can see below.
Yes, this actually happened!
What else does an interview with Eneda Tarifa feature? Apart from singing and modelling, we share invitations to Tirana with Rona Nishliu and more than a few laughs. Seriously, she is hilarious. Think Marta and Václav talking about hippos peeing in their direction, but on steroids.
Do you agree with Eneda that both versions of “Fairytale” are strong? Did you know she was this comedic? Tell us below!
I prefer the original version, but what I’ve kept from this video is that she’s so funny and such a positive person! I’m impressed by her, regardless if she does well or not. She seems to have a beautiful voice and the talent to do great things!
I’m probably one of the very few people who actually liked the revamp, more than the original. Though it I do miss the albanian language.
Eneda is so funny and easy going!
What a great interview!
However it seems like she knows she doesn’t have a chance.

Strike a pose, strike a pose, Vogue, vogue, vogue…
I love a good kiss and make up,
“But comes a day when it’s not enough
What you have, and the time is up”…
Eneda isn’t gonna pull a rabbit out of a hat in Stockholm unless she dresses up as one.
She, neither Ira is not a MILF, come on. A MILF, for instance, should be over 40, looking in her 30s.
@Escaddict
of course Eneda is a nice singer, but for me like i said she should’ve kept it in Albanian
and what do you think about Ira Losco with Walk On Water, just your honest opinion?
That should be “feel”, not “reel”.
Yes, William and Deban, you were way too harsh in your reaction video.
I loved the original song. I don’t care about the language, it was the new reel that upset me. That should have remained. Still it is a good song
What a woman! Ira and she are the best MILFs! I am still really sorry for albanian version.
she’s fabulous! still mad about the revamp tho.
well my top 3 performances from London Eurovision Party
1. Malta ( also loved that acoustic version of 7th wonder with Destiny) and yeah best performance to date 🙂
2. Bulgaria ( Poli just slays on stage 🙂 )
3. Poland ( i admit Michal is a good singer)
She is also a comedian?
She gains a few cool points in my book. Thick skin and a fantastic sense of humor.
Seriously, all the participants are so lovely this year.
