During his first rehearsal at Eurovision 2016 Freddie brought the heat — and we’re not just talking about his smouldering looks. His LED floor resembles a bright red lava field with deep cracks. He stands in place rocking out and letting his sultry vocals add even more steam to the performance. His three male backing vocalists stand stage left — without their glow sticks from Hungary — and at times raise their hands and clap in unison over their heads. On the opposite side of the stage a man beats a traditional drum which is resting on an aerial stand (it’s kind of like a raised Chinese gong, but not). Later in the number the lava floor becomes a swirling red universe and Freddie is its star. The LED wall shows thunder and lightning — perhaps indicative of the struggles of pioneers — but it doesn’t make much of an impact. This is all about the floor. Overall this is much stronger than in A Dal and the staging makes this seem more and more like a solid qualifier.

After their first rehearsals, Hungary’s and Armenia’s odds shortened on oddschecker (while Croatia continued to drift…). Told you several times these two are clearly underrated.

I kinda like the song, but the staging is a mistake for me, too much going on. This needs something simple, dark and minimal as it was Human in melfest for example.
It will be in final because juries will put it high but in final it will probably get lost.

I’m so glad the juries aren’t filled with fangirls like Nicky91 going ridiculously OTT about every single act.

Pathetic.

Freddie is amazingly sexy, he has a great modern song and I love his raspy voice. I don’t understand why he does not do better in the betting odds. Top 5 material
