I think everyone here is big on name and country only and dont give a rats ace for talent. Now Australia has a constant #5 vote, yet everyone here does make no mention of them as finalists when not even hearing the talent. Makes the voting a bit BS-ish if you ask me. Russian song is a rehash of a popular polish song that did well in the early 2000s. Wait untill the world hear it and remember and see the copy. It nearly won then and now russia want it to again lol. Very weak russia. The rest I… Read more »

Davve, yes in this case, but this year, my favourites are Estonia and Italy, two serious and nice ballads. In this case, Moldova and Russia did made me very happy in 2012, and both made it to top 15. Even though Moldova did not get any points from Sweden. But Russia and Serbia(another favourite I had that year) got

Davve, I also think Samra will do a “Maria Olafsdottir”. I think that the running order will make San Marino qualify instead of Croatia, or as they called Croatia in JESC 2003, Keratia

@Charles “Nobody wants to see Amir surrounded with flying horses, climbing walls and naked dancers”
….No? 😮 I’d love to see that! Especially the naked dancers! Amir could join in too! Wouldn’t mind that… 😀

I’m totally in love in Jamie Lee, her voice, her song, her staging and her outfit. I’m so glad she stayed true to herself and didn’t change much in her performance from NF. Still my no. 1. Go, Germany! 🙂

The only one I can’t deal with is the UK. It looks extremely amateurish.

Top 15 for the rest, Uk bottom 5

1- UK (very surprised)
2- France (good but not great)
3- Sweden (consistently good)
4- Germany (good singer, poor staging)
5- Italy (good song and singer but horrid staging)
6- Spain (sadly, Barei didn’t live up to the hype for me and her staging and backing vocalists/dancers are atrocious!)

@Eugene: France can’t catch a break, can they? They had to sing 1st in the 2013 final and 2nd in 2015. What are the chances that they will wind up placed among the first 6 or 7 in the singing order again?

France is the best of them. The best song – contemporary and radio friendly and Amir is pretty charismatic. Sweden have a good, contemporary song, too. The songs from Germany and Spain are o.k. UK could have done better. Italy’s song is kinda boring, you can either take a nap while she’s singing or laugh to the kitsch they bring to the stage, either.

Found this (some tv shots included)

You may like it or not, but this one stands out amongst the flood of blue and red with lots information backgrounds we have this year.

But I am honest with my own country. I am actually one of a few who did not(and still) like “Euphoria”. I think it is just a regular pop song, and there were better songs. My favourites that year were Moldova and Russia, both maked me happy.

Fransen, so the Georgian fanbase have moved to Spain. Interesting…
There is an Irish fanbase too, but I still notice it in the polls. I know I voted for Sweden and Sweden is my country, and I could may be patriotic, but I honestly like Frans and his song. Not my favourite, but still.

My top 6 of second rehearsals May 8:

1. France (a possible winner)
2. Spain (there is something wrong with the dancers. No energy, a little bit sleepwalking on stage :-)) but I like the song.
3. UK
4. Germany
5. Italy
6. Sweden (don’t like his voice)

I like France’s song, but the rehearsal was dissapointing. Spain was better than in Objetivo Eurovision and UK… Exactly what I expected

But I voted for:
Germany(Very good improvement. But select Avantasia internally next year)
Sweden(Good as always)
Italy(Best of today, one of my two favourites in this year’s ESC

These polls are completely fake because there are A LOT of eurofans voting for their own country… I wouldn’t be surprised to see Barei win this poll… and it seems like almost everyone agrees her rehearsal wasn’t the best of the Big 5 + Sweden! 😉
