Recently we’ve seen Greta Salóme auction off her stage costume and Lidia Isac auction her astronaut’s helmet, both for charity. But looking at all the props and costumes used at Eurovision 2016, we can’t help notice that there are plenty of other items we’d like to see auctioned off for charity. Here are our favourites.

1. Sergey Lazarev’s wall

Sergey Lazarev, wall, Russia

It looks like a normal wall, but you’ll bamboozle your friends when you casually start walking up it, mysteriously stroking the wall as another block emerges. Then your friends will be all “Dude, get down. We’ve seen it before. You’re drunk.” But still.

2. Ivan’s holographic screen

Ivan wolf hologram

Set this up in your living room and with a flick of a switch, you can have drummer IVAN, bass player IVAN, guitarist IVAN, weird ghostly IVAN and, of course, naked wolf-friend IVAN right next to you. You’ll never be lonely.

3. ManuElla’s pole

ManuElla, pole, Slovenia

Pole dancing is so 2000s. Bendy pole dancing is where it’s at now. Set up ManuElla’s bendy pole in your spare bedroom and you’ll be able to execute the moves of her dancer, such as standing next to the pole, spinning on the pole, and stopping.

4. Rykka’s smoking sports bra

rykka-bra

Ever wanted to disappear in a cloud of smoke while at the same time wearing a bra that supports your bust when engaging in athletic activities? Well, Rykka’s smoking sports bra offers all that and more. It’s the perfect garment for those times when you want to suddenly leave your bae and run off. Which happens a lot.

5. Jüri Pootsmann’s disappearing card

juri-pootsmann-card

Pick a card, any card. Is it the jack of hearts? Is it held in the hand of this stylish Estonian gent? Has he just thrown it away? Look again. It’s still in his hand. Did that just blow your mind? Yes, you too can master this card trick and have the smooth moves of one of those weird pick-up artist types.

6. Poli Genova’s Matrix outfit

Poli Genova, Bulgaria

If your aesthetic is “time traveller from an alternate reality where Eldrine won Eurovision in 2011”, then Poli Genova’s costume will let you create futuristic chic. The illuminated parts of the costume also double as safety lights when cycling at night.

7. Deen & Dalal’s barbed wire fence

Bosnia first rehearsal 2016

If there’s someone in your life who is getting a little too close for comfort, Deen & Dalal’s barbed wire fence is just what you need. This portable fence can be wheeled into any situation (a romantic dinner, for example) where you just feel like saying “I need some space, ok?” And due to the large gaps between the wire, the fence can also be used for dramatic reach-through reconciliations.

8. Ira Losco’s projection coat

Ira Losco Malta Walk on Water first rehearsal

Here’s a stylish overcoat, hardly worn, suitable for when the weather gets colder. The coat comes with an alarmingly distorted digital projection of Ira Losco’s face on the back of the coat. This cannot be turned off and it will follow you around wherever you go, even down to the local shops.

9. Hovi Star’s giant hoop

hovi-star-hoop

This is an carbon-neutral form of transportation that you can enjoy with a friend. Spin your way around town, narrowly missing busy roads, parents with babies, old ladies and 100-metre cliffs. Comes with two footless body suits.

10. Måns Zelmerlöw’s wolf

mans-wolf

Aw, look at that toy wolf! Isn’t it cute? It’s so cuddly-wuddly! Don’t you just want to hug it and then everything will be ok? Please note: The wolf has not been dry-cleaned since Eurovision.

11. Serhat’s hat

Serhat, San Marino

It’s Serhat’s hat.

Which props and costumes would you like to see auctioned for charity? How much would you pay? Share your thoughts below!

I came across this little video https://www.instagram.com/p/BGge2nSnf6I/ You can see how Sergey is climbing the stairs that are hidden behind fabric. I don’t know how he manages not to fall off to be honest.

If someone knows how LED screen works, please explain it. It`s mystery for me. People in Polish TV told about 3D effects but isn`t explanation for me.

Tbh an alternate reality where Eldrine won esc 2011 wouldn’t be too bad, at least they were better than the actual winner.
