If the Eurovision national selection season could be compared to sex, then Melodifestivalen may just be the orgasm. Sweden’s national selection show routinely presses all of our buttons, giving us musical thrills, shocking spills and more drama than a Latin telenovela. Hello, Anna Book!
It’s been more than three months since Melodifestivalen 2016. As we await news and gossip about the next edition we thought we’d pause and ask you guys which Melfest songs you’re still listening to all these weeks later. Are you bathing naked with Samir & Viktor? Does SaRaha have you going kizunguzungu? Is Molly Sandén still a part of your Youniverse? Are you remembering not to worry via Ace Wilder? Or does your loyalty lie with Eurovision 2016 participant Frans who slayed the pack in Sweden?
Vote in our poll below and then let us know who you’ve still got on loop in our comments section. You can vote for as many songs as you’d like, but you can only vote ONE time, so make it count. Be sure to click the box next to each song you want to support before pressing submit.

Anna Bergendahl – This is my life :/
Wow, as of 5:05 p.m. EST, 0 votes for Martin Stenmarck.
SaRaha and Wiktoria are my favourite in Melodifestivalen:)
But I think we will see all Schlagers competing next year(which will be very few) doing well, for 2 reasons. 1. Schlagers does well every 2nd year, they did well in 2015 and 2013, but not 2014 and 2016. Hope we will see this trend continue!!! 2. There are some artists copying everything that did well in Eurovision. We will see some Lazarev schlagers with a staging like Dami Im and a political message, but if it wins, europe have already been fed up, but we are Sweden, so we will reach top 15 whatsoever. If I am right and… Read more »
First of all the best song won. Frans trully deserves all the success.
This was the best melfest in terms of music. Many songs charted so high and get Platinum like S&V or Gold, other countries need to learn from Sweden how mainstream music sounds like.
I am actually not listening that much to my favourites Anna Book and After Dark, but I will listen to them now…
But I listen mostly to my third place Boris René, but also Ace Wilder, Frans, Panetoz, PTU(Patrik Tommy Uno), SaRaHa and Wiktoria.
None actually .. sadly a very average disappointingly boring MF musically speaking … nothing substantial in my book and no wow-factor … pretty much an attempt to bring in the current radio pop sound out there with songs that for the most part had nothing moving to offer … I guess I see why Frans won … not only because he’s the 6 year old kid that everybody in Sweden still remembers … but also because he had something different and unexpected from a 17 year old kid to show for … everybody expected Ace Wilder to play again the… Read more »
I will wait, My heart wants me dead, Constellation prize are my favourites and I listen to them everyday.
“My Heart Wants Me Dead” of course! And maybe “Kizunguzungu”. I also love “Human” but for some reason I am not listening to it…
None
Definitely Robin Bengtsson. But also Frans, Lisa Ajax, Wiktoria and Oscar.
Human is a masterpiece! Hope to see Oscar next year at Melodifestivallen 2017.
SMILO popped up unexpectedly on a play list at first I didn’t recognise it but now I’m loving it. In fact their are more songs from the Melodifestivalen than the Eurovision this year in listening too.
