Ruslan Aslanov Belarus Junior Eurovision 2015

As Ukraine decides where to host the adult Eurovision 2017, regional pop music rival Belarus is getting ready to shine at the Junior edition of the contest. Today Belarusian broadcaster BTRC held a round of closed auditions for their national selection choosing ten finalists from among 45 candidates.

Belarus is one of the more successful countries in JESC, having won two times — in 2005 and 2007. So will they be able to find another lucky winner this year?

Here are the ten finalists of the Belarusian selection, the final of which will be staged no later than September 16.

  1. Alexander Minyenok
  2. Yulia Mozhilovskaya
  3. Olga Konovalova
  4. Stephaniya Sokolova
  5. “Neskuchniy Vozrast”
  6. Elena Titova
  7. Zinaida Kupriyanovich
  8. Maria Zhilina
  9. “So-Ni-Ka”
  10. Maria Magilnaya

There are a few familiar names among them.

“Neskuchniy Vozrast”, Zinaida Kupriyanovich and Maria Magilnaya all participated in the selection last year finishing second, fourth and sixth respectively. You may also remember Elena Titova, who came fourth in the selection in 2014. Will their experience help them?
