More than a year since she wowed audiences at Eurovision 2015, Georgia’s Nina Sublatti continues to slay her way through the international music scene. Following ESC the “Warrior” singer released the genre-defying songs “Locked Box” and “Heart Won’t Suck It“. And now she has followed that up with the release of ”Vision of Mind”.

Magical, mystical, minimalist — this number stays true to Nina’s other-worldly sound. It starts with a muted trumpet, which gives it a mournful, yet somehow sexy feeling. Sounds of the xylophone and electro percussion draw you into the trance and Nina’s cutting voice keeps you there. From the first note to the last, this is instantly and undeniably Nina.

The authentic sound makes sense, as Nina wrote the song herself along with her husband George Shamanauri, who actually plays the trumpet on the track. The single will appear on Nina’s forthcoming second album.

NINA AT EUROVISION 2015

At Eurovision 2015, Nina took Georgia back to the Grand Final and recorded an impressive 11th place result. She helped Georgia finish ahead of both of its Caucasus neighbours Armenia and Azerbaijan for the first time in the country’s history.

Her Eurovision entry “Warrior” was hugely popular among both the Wiwi Jury and our readers, taking home the titles of best music video for her cinematic masterpiece and best female vocalist for her performance in Vienna.

What do you think of “Vision Of Mind”? Does the Warrior continue to slay?
