Hungary’s Freddie is almost as popular for his rugged good looks as he is for his music. He cut a fine figure at Eurovision 2016, as all 1.93 metres of him performed on the Globen stage wearing just a long white t-shirt and ripped denim jeans. The whole look was capped off with his signature stubble.
However, as of today, the brown-eyed hunk is unshaven no more. Taking to his Instagram account, the “Pioneer” singer shared a picture of his new clean-cut visage, along with the caption:
“They say beard is sexy… I’m In serious trouble now… #man #shave #earlymorning #radio#awake”
For as long as he’s been in the public eye, the 26 year old A Dal winner has always sported some form of facial hair. His bristles are prominent in the video for his breakout hit “Mary Joe”, and there’s even traces of a five o’clock shadow in that infamous Rising Star shower scene.
Change is always divisive, particularly within the Eurovision fan community. And opinion is already split amongst Freddie’s followers. One ordered him to “Grow it back fast!” while another commented with a series of sad face emojis. Others were more supporting, reassuring him that “You couldn’t not be sexy if you tried… So don’t worry” and “You look younger and you are still beautiful”.

I personally prefer him with beard.
And guys, please don’t argue, this article is just for fun.
I think EASy is right though. Many gay fans. But why make a poit of it? many are NOT. And what about all the female fans?? ESC fan pages seems too eager to point out silly stereotypes….directly or indirectly
Iberian – like it or not…but it’s a big cliche, a myth that ESC benefit NOTHING from! And I am SO bored with ESC-fan site spinning around it. I like gays, and I think they should be acceted. but don’t treat ESC as if it was “something gay”. That’s not inclusive
NOOOOOOOOooooooOooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Why would he do that?
Still hott ??????????
Also I don’t care that this isn’t “newsworthy”. It’s the blog’s choice to report on what they want. I, for one, like their point of view. You do you, wiwibloggs.
“and why d they seem to think alle male fans are gay”. Well, welcome to our world, where almost everywhere and all the time (media, ads, films, articles, reunions, administration etc.) they always assume everyone is straight. (Example: how many tv ads have gay couples? how many have a “boy meets girl” or “mom and dad traditional familiy”, be it for insurances, chocolate, beverages or whatever?) So, everyday, all the time some of us wonder: why do they seem to think all readers, viewers, clients, citizens, employees are straight? But still people manage to complain over a little, funny article… Read more »
And to make a poll about male looks….come on!
Wiwiblogs have some great, in depth articles…with some good musical analyss. but also some really shallow, overpinkish fluff sometimes. (and why d they seem to think alle male fans are gay? nothing wrong with gays, but that’s a big mayth! many are not)
Conchita should follow that example!
Not important how he looks though….Wiwiblogs is too foverly focused about male looks! I agree with what Maru said
omg the shower scene. I am dead.
With facial hair Freddie is so hot:) Also Sergey Lazarev better looks with facial hair. But Lazarev always is sexy:)
He looks like a drag queen after make-up removal
Lol Very important and vital topic for discussion – Freddie`s new look! 😀
btw, He reminds me someone… But I can`t remember whom exactly. 🙂
He looks a lot sexier with beard, what a shame he shaved.
He looks so much better now. He looks fresh and happy. Now he doesn’t look 10 years older.
