And today Swedish pop star Oscar Zia keeps the momentum going with his new single “I Want You”.
Penned by Benjamin Ingrosso, Hampus Lindvall and Jasmine Andersson, the uptempo number channels a happier vibe than “Human” and will no doubt loop on iPhones all summer.

Coming into his own musically and as a person, the 19-year-old heartthrob says the song is all about that special feeling when you want to go home with someone. We’ve all been there, babe!
“I listened to the song and felt that it suited me perfectly and where I am in life right now, occasionally dancing and with a lot of joy,” he says of the new release.
“It’s about that festive evening when you’re interested in a person and decide that you have to have this. The hunt is there. The song has a little air of desperation, but it’s also the feeling that you have when you really decide to go home with that person the evening.”
Now if only that person was one of us….
On Monday, July 25, he will premiere the new single live on Lotta på Liseberg, which is broadcast on TV4 at 20:00 CET.
Oscar Zia is currently touring Sweden as part of the star-studded Diggiloo tour, alongside beloved Swedish singers including Ace Wilder and Jessica Andersson.
