junior-eurovision-2016-all-songs

Seventeen acts will compete at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Malta, but there can only be one winner. To help you make an informed decision about where to cast your vote, the Wiwi Jury—our in-house panel of music un-professionals—will preview and review each of this year’s acts. We’re ready to pick our JESC favourites!

Our jury for this edition consists of 21 jurors who hail from Australia, Croatia, Georgia, Ireland, Morocco, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States. We are truly international, y’all! Each juror assesses each song independently, and then awards each song a score from 0 to 10. Before calculating the Wiwi Jury verdict, we drop the highest and lowest scores to reduce potential bias and outliers.

We’ll be unrolling these one by one over the coming weeks. You can read the completed reviews by clicking on the song title.

@Sanja

True. The performance is really energetic and her vocals are very good, I expect something similar on Sunday. And of course a place in the top 5. 🙂

Thank you for wishing Martija to do well. 🙂 One of the judges said that her “maturity serves her well”. It really does, as the rehearsal showed. One of the reasons why she won’t disappoint is because she is always so professional. Just have a look at her live performances in Pinkove zvezdice. :)))))))

@Sanja

Certainty? I said “they MIGHT”. I want them to do well, especially after the great rehearsal, but I just said that there is a possibility they won’t.

@Sanja

Don’t fangirl too much because they might finish outside of the top 10.

Macedonia has the second highest average mark out of 17 countries, according to the Wiwi judges. Added to the results of the Wiwibloggs poll where Love Will Lead Our Way is in the lead, Macedonia is again deservedly at the very top, both according to the opinion of the Wiwi judges and that of the Eurovision fans. Way to go Macedonia. Thumbs up to holding Junior Eurovision 2017 in Skopje. :)))))))))))))

Great to see you gave new (and higher) scores to Albania, as they revamped their song! 😀

Russia is an amazing winner, not surprising at all they won your vote! I expect them to win the actual contest too. 🙂

I can’t believe y’all lashed Belarus so much. That’s a fun song, and he’s serving Christina Aguilera-level vocals in it. I can’t wait to read your reviews for the real winner, Poland!

Albania is very underrated… also are Belarus and Cyprus. The Netherlands, Malta and Bulgaria are too overrated
