She’s a pint-sized powerhouse known for her larger-than-life voice. And on Wednesday Albania’s Klesta Qehaja proved the point yet again, serving Rona Nishliu realness with her always on-point voice as she nailed her song “Besoj”. Visually much of this will be familiar. She resembled a flower girl at a wedding, wearing a demure, age-appropriate white dress. Her signature bangs were in tact, as were here adorable pink glasses. She may be a vocal diva, but she’s keeping it young and fresh.
The LED was somewhat underwhelming, featuring a series of red geometric figures against the white background. It’s great to nod to Albania’s signature red, but a song like this requires more drama to match the emotion and feel. Her music video was perfection, but this doesn’t quite measure up. For now it rests solely on her voice. But her voice is very strong indeed.

Amazing voice and song, but not that good staging. The led should have something more, like the cardboard cuts. It is very simple now and not effective. Albania is still one of my favs.
Klesta is the real thing… I was not surprised to see how strong her performance was–she had performed Besoj many times live now. I hope this will be top 5.
She was amazing! I like the staging, even though it needs something more… Anyway, if she doesn’t end up in the top 10, then shame on the supposed “music professionals”!
