Anni Saikku will compete in Finland’s Eurovision national final Uuden Musiikin Kilpailiu (UMK) 2017 with her song “Reach Out for the Sun”. It’s an uplifting song with a message of sticking out the tough times and moving toward positive moments.
The song begins with Anni battling adversity: “I don’t want this to be easy, just need to be strong”. She finds some inner strength and shares the positive message.
Anni has inspirational words as she comes into the chorus: “For the first time you can see the truth/The light that shines the brightest in you”.
The chorus repeats the simple message “Reach our for the sun”. And it looks like Anni will be a ray of sunshine at UMK 2017.
