A pinch of competitive spirit, two teaspoons of passion, one cup of Italian realness — this is how you slay! Yesterday evening Emma Marrone ruled the kitchen of Bake Off Italia – Celebrity Edition, winning the first spin-off opened to famous people of the Italian television baking competition.
The blonde singer — who placed 21st at Eurovision 2014 with the rock-chic uptempo “La mia città” — appeared in the special charity episode in favor of the project “Emergency”, carried out by the Paediatric Centre of Bangui, in the Central African Republic.
Emma entered the show along with other Italian sport and showbiz personalities, including Olympic gold medalist swimmer Massimiliano Rosolino, the deejay and radio speaker La Pina and her husband, the producer and musician Emiliano Pepe, the former professional footballer Giuseppe Baresi and the Italian Argentine rugby union footballer Martin Castrogiovanni.
The former Eurovision entrant was not alone, as the celebs competed in eight pairs. Emma baked together with Antonino Spadaccino, winner on the fourth series of the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi, the same show that launched her in 2009.
They won first prize with a nice realization of a colourful rainbow cake, carrying a strong message for the LGBT community: “Love is love, no matter what its color is”.
On December 2 Emma released the project “Adesso – Tour Edition”, a deluxe version of her latest album including a live DVD with several performances filmed during her recent concert tour and the single “Quando le canzoni finiranno”, soundtrack from the movie “La cena di Natale”.
