Conchita Wurst Champagne Kisses cover jessie ware

In a world where drag queens lip sync for their lives, Conchita Wurst is a stunning one-off.

And today she captivated us all yet again when she shared her cover of Jessie Ware’s “Champagne Kisses“, working with producer edo to create a stripped down interpretation of the classic.

As in so many of her songs, Conchita evokes all kinds of emotions through the power of her vocals alone. Loss, heartbreak, hope…We’re feeling it all.

With a modest black and white video to complement the track, Conchita keeps the focus on her gorgeous voice. But there’s still scope to show off her tiny waist and perfect pins, which look stunning in black leather trousers. Conchita, you are irreplaceable honey!

The cover is a welcome gift from Conchita, who has been relatively quiet in recent months.

However, earlier this summer the drag superstar showed off her charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent by covering “Blue Bloom“, collaborating with Austrian singer Maria Burger.

In the song Conchita offers a salvo to someone experiencing loss.

Showing off the stunning vocals that catapulted her to victory at Eurovision 2014, Conchy seems to feel every single note of this folksy number, which weaves through themes of love and the power of remembrance.

With these touching covers, we’re getting more and more excited for what 2017 has to offer for our favourite bearded lady!

Oh yes! I’m with you, the Coversong Conchita present us yesterday is so unbelievable fantastic. I love this song!
I also love #bluebloom! But notice that Blue Bloom isn’t a cover. Conchita writes Blue Bloom by herself, it’s her first really ownwriting song.

A stunning performance that makes me all in aww! You nail it perfectly.
Blue Bloom is so tender and soft yet at the same time so empowering.
Love both of them.
