She’s one of Greece’s most beloved Eurovision acts ever, known for her fun-in-the-sun attitude and endless optimism and spirit.
And on Tuesday Kalomira lived up to her reputation yet again, releasing the lyric video for her latest feel-good single “Shoot ’em Down”.
The on-trend, electro ode channels the energy of summer and sees Kalomira preach perseverance: “My kingdom is falling down, I’m still going to wear my crown, no curtain call for now, I’m gonna win this crowd.”
And she does just that with an infectious club beat, plenty of bass and some electronic strumming.
Her voice carries the message of fighting back and holding strong very well – even if we can’t imagine anyone hating on this Greek goddess.

The mother-of-three, who has been in Greece co-hosting the show Rising Star, recently shared a video on Instagram of her recording a new single, which we assume was ‘Shoot ‘Em Down’.
That led to mass speculation that she’d return to Eurovision in 2017.
But on Tuesday Kalomira revealed via the wiwibloggs Instagram account that a Eurovision run “isn’t in the cards” this year.
Responding to our post that suggested she might be recording a song for Kyiv, the 31-year-old wrote: “Thanks guys! Love uuuu!! I appreciate the sweet remarks! I don’t think it’s in the cards for me this year! I think Demy would be amazing!”
