Salena Mastroianni is a distant relative of the famous Italian actor, Marcello Mastroianni. She’s bringing some European flavour with a tropical beat to the UK selection process.
Salena previously appeared on the X Factor in 2012, where she made it through the audition phase. She did not make it on the live shows following her first appearance, though.
Her songwriting team for “I Don’t Wanna Fight” includes some of the team behind Lucie Jones’ entry also. Salena says the song isn’t anti-war, but more about a relationship.
