The show must go on! In light of the tragic event last week involving Hungarian students in Verona, Italy, the organisers of A Dal 2017 put a pause on the original second heat out of respect for those involved in the accident.

The acts originally scheduled for the third show will still go ahead and perform as planned this coming Saturday, but now as the second show. The acts from last week’s postponed heat will have their rescheduled moment the following week, on 4 February. So let’s check out the acts performing in the new second heat.

We are running a flash poll here at wiwibloggs and we want to know who your favourites are for the second heat. Can any of these acts go on to be the next Freddie and represent Hungary in Kyiv?

Make sure to listen to all ten songs in full below and then vote in our poll. Remember! You can vote for as many songs as you like, but you can only vote once, so choose wisely! The poll will close shortly before the second heat airs this weekend.

First, I have to say I expected much better from Kallay Saunders. The song isn’t good.
After that, of all these songs my 2 favourites are “Together” and “Dust in the wind”. Great voices, contemporary sound. Great job!

This heat is the weakest! I don’t really know who could qualify this time, probably Adam Szabo makes it… but I hope Chase and Zoltan qualify. How the juries left Chase out at first??

Kallay’s song is really dissapointing.

“Dust In The Wind” is really catchy, it should qualify.

My goodness, the Kalláy-Saunders song is truly… horrible. How did they go from Running and Who We Are to this?!

Chase has a great song. KSB is really good too.
Worried that Adam Szabo’s cynical song might win the whole thing though. Hungary has a tendency to go for manipulative, exploitive rubbish (See Boggie).

AnnaElza’s song is really good. Contemporary, unique, and in Hungarian. Definitely my favourite of the bunch.

I just hope Kallay Saunders will not appear with that blonde hair. I understand his mother was a model, but he does not have to inherit everything from her.

Well this just goes on to show that the supposed music experts don’t always pick the right songs for the country’s selection…………Dust in the wind , which finished outside the initial top 30 songs, is definitely better than half of the songs in the initial 30

I agree with Lukas 🙂 As long as “it’s a Riot” goes furter….ALL is OK! Some cool 60s garage rock….energetic and authentic. Love it!

If there is ever one entry in the native language out of the bunch, I vote for it.
