We’ve reached the fourth and final heat of Lithuania’s Eurovizijos atranka 2017. The remaining 11 participants took to the stage to perform for both the jury and public vote. Another six acts joined the confirmed 18 qualifiers at the next stage of the competition. Aiste Pilvelyte went on to win tonight’s heat, and will be joined by Alanas, Queens of Roses, Valerija Iljinaite, Neringa Šiaudikyte and Evaldas Vaikasas.

A finalist in the selection last year, Aiste has come back for another go. Her entry, “I’m Like Woolf”, was written by former Eurovision contestant Aminata Savadogo. From Latvia to Lithuania, it looks like this could be a Baltic love affair!

Aiste’s pronunciation is awful and she misses a lot of notes, but REALLY everything else is a disgrace (typical Lithuania).
The song is amazing
Do you know who could nail all the notes with ease – Kaliopi
Aminata should’ve search for her, I wonder how this song would sound if she was the one singing it.

Aiste and “I’m Like Woolf”.. just awful! The girl can’t sing and the song is a mess.

Haven’t listened to other Lithuanian songs, but I can bet that they can’t be better than this one lol
I love it

I can see Aminata performing it and she would deliver it. Nothing against AIste, but I couldn’t see it in her performance.

Not captivated by this song, lost my attention already after 1,5 minutes

I don’t understand this ‘second change’ that was given to Aiste.. also at some parts her song reminded me Jamala’s song! Still don’t get the 2 (!!!!) points to Audrius and the 6 (!!!) points to Shiny from the jury! I think once more the televoting was much more correct than the Lithuanian jury… some explainations must be given!

I like Aiste, but I think she isn’t winning this year neither. The song is arguably the best from this extremely weak heat, so it stands out. With the other 23 semifinalists it won’t stand out that much. Probably she willmake it ot the final, but nothing more.

I think Audrius Janonis with “Run” should qualify instead any other crappy song. I don’t even going to bother about the remaining songs in this heat. They are either awful, boring or both.

I’ve heard Aiste’s song and honestly, I am quite unimpressed. This is the ‘winner’ so many are talking about? Sorry, but so far I find this below any of the currently chosen songs.

Hmm… This is a weird, but interesting song… I think I like it.

By the way, thank God the televote kicked Shiny Raia out, her entry was horrible.

Song: 7/10. Heartbeat was much better and palced 15, so…
Aiste: 5/10. This song schould perform someone else.

I have no idea why people are so sure about this winning… Not that many people voted in the first round, so anything can happen with the televote closer to the final. And the juries usually don’t get behind Aist? in the final rounds. She even received criticism this time for performing like a second coming of Aminata.

I think this would sound better if it was sung by Aminata herself.

This song is actually very good but you have to get used to it.
However, I agree that in Supernova this song would have difficulties to even make it to the final

@Bink: Don’t be so sure that this will win… in Lithuania’s selection, anything can happen

I want to like this…. but her voice just doesn’t fit the song. I can imagine Aminata singing it, and then it sounds pretty decent, but cold or no cold, it wasn’t great.

Shame that this is absolutely going to win when Lithuania could send something contemporary and fun like Paula or Greta.

She has to win! What a great voice and song!

Aiste has an amazing voice. She did so well with a terrible song last year. This song is much better. She could go far!

Geez, Aminata is not a magician and we can’t expect everything from her to be the Second Coming – the song isn’t that bad, yeesh.

I hope it’s true that Aiste was dealing with a cold when she was singing this, because she doesn’t sound good at all. She didn’t sound good last year with that nightmare of a song “You Bet” so…

Poor Vlad Max.
He is just not made for singing live I think. Loved his song last year, too.

I actually loved Vlad Max, such a cute and sweet guy. Pity he didn’t make it 🙁

Can’t tell if “I’m Like Woolf” is a typo or a pun on her pronunciation. This is Aminata’s worst song though (and I’m a huge Aminata fan), and Aiste sounds terribly singing it.

I’m sorry, but Aminata is SO overrated. She’s run out of ideas and now all her songs sound the same. Aist? can sing, at least.

I heard that an Estonian composer Vallo Kikas (usually works with Stig) also might have a song in the Lithuanian selection? Does anyone know about it?

Good but this Aminata song is mix of her songs for Latvia 2015 and 2016. Nothing special, we listen similar melody two time in row at eurovision stage. . I hope Lithuania wili sent some other song in Ukraine.

I’ve heard that Aiste was sick during the performance, so I know she’ll be even better next time 😉

Seems like she’s the big favourite to win, given both the televote and jury results

Well deserved! This sound so good compared to other entries in Lithuania! Though I think if this song would compete in Supernova, it would need much more to win or make it to the final.

Aminata has written another great song. It seems like Latvia is trying to take over Baltics 😀 but well done, she is the best.
