He’s a Russian Eurovision star who has gone international, starring in Russian-Italian films while also jetting between Moscow and his home in Hollywood, where he’s starred in other people’s music videos while also filming his own.

But it seems that ain’t enough for Alex Sparrow, the one-time X Factor singer who went on to compete at Eurovision 2011.

As he continues his mission of conquering Hollywood, the singer-actor-Renaissance-man has taken a break to appear in the “UnREAL” TV series, which spoofs the popular reality dating series The Bachelor.

The show is set behind-the-scenes of a fictional show called Everlasting. As American magazine Entertainment Weekly reports:

Sparrow — known as Alexey Vorobyov in his native Russia — had stints on Russia’s X-Factor and Dancing With the Stars, making him the perfect choice to play Alexi, a “bad boy of the ballet world” who’s “edgy, unpredictable, and explosive.” Hmm… could he be this season’s villain?

And while the details of the production remain a secret, Sparrow’s Instagram account makes it evident that filming is already underway.

Sharing a snap of a cast reading, Alex — err, Alexi? — added the caption: “Season 3…it’s gonna be a lot of fun!”

We cannot wait to see Alex on our TV screens. Are you excited? And what are you hoping this bad boy of ballet does next?

When Alex did Russian Bachelor in 2016 it ended up with him dismissing all the girls to remain single. I guess he didn’t want to unsettle his loyal fans.

I think he should finally release the album produced by RedOne and preferably return to Eurovision.

But it seems like an inspired piece of casting.
