Slovenia’s search for their Eurovision representative in Kyiv gets underway in two weeks with the start of the semi-finals of Evrovizijska Melodija (EMA) 2017.

And today RTVSLO has revealed the running order as well the song titles and songwriting teams for all 16 semi-finalists. The broadcaster have yet to reveal the songs themselves.

Eurovision 2005 representative Omar Naber will perform last in the first semi-final. Amaya’s replacement Clemens has been allocated to the second semi-final and will perform first, followed by last year’s runner-up Raiven.

Eurovision 2015 representatives Maraaya are involved at EMA and worked their songwriting talent with Nika Zorjan and BQL. Raay himself wrote Alya’s entry “Halo”. Pele Loriano also has Eurovision experience as composer of Switzerland’s 2010 entry “Il pleut de l’or”. He wrote “Flower in the Snow” for Nuška Drašcek.

Four qualifiers advance to the February 24 final from each semi-final, and the winner will be determined by a combination of televoting and six regional juries. Slovenia will perform in the second half of the first semi-final at Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv, which takes place on 9 May.
