The Eurovision 2017 selection season will wrap up in the next few weeks. But you know what that means? The preview parties are ready to roll!

You may have already bought your tickets for the Eurovision Pre-Party in Riga, the London Eurovision Party and Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam. But don’t forget about the most eastern event — not to mention one of the most glorious — the Moscow Eurovision Party.

The concert and red carpet event will take place on April 21, 2017, just three weeks before the contest in Kyiv. The magic will unfold inside Vegas City Hall, a new multi-level concert hall in the suburbs of the Russian capital.

This is the eighth time that Moscow will host a Eurovision party — and as ever they will do so with a bit of Russian charm and hospitality.

The highlight of last year’s party in Izvestia Hall was definitely the first live performance of Sergey Lazarev’s “You Are the Only One” — and of course our sweet interview with him.

Last year the ticket sale for the Moscow Eurovision Party started on March 5. But Dmitry Melnikov — the organizer of the party — has revealed to us that this year’s tickets will go on sale this month.

Dmitry has shared even more exciting news: this year the Moscow Eurovision Party will be streamed live on the Internet, and after the concert they will launch SMS voting for the audience to choose the best performance.

Taking inspiration from Eurovision voting, the public will feel the real atmosphere of the contest. And, just as it should be, the winner will be congratulated and awarded at the end of the show. Sounds thrilling, right?

So as you see, thunder and lightning it’s getting VERY exciting! We can’t wait for the Moscow Eurovision Party! And what about you? Are you coming?

I don’t know how SMS voting among the audience will work… most of the people attending will be Russian, so they’ll just vote for their song.

Wise! Russia wants to show that could have been a better host than Ukraine. Good for them, and good for people who will be there to enjoy!
Still wait for their artist, and hope will not be something safe.
