He’s a 17-year-old up-and-comer from sunny Malta, who has been shortlisted for his country’s Eurovision selection twice.

And now, just two weeks ahead of the Eurovision grand final, Aidan Cassar is falling so deep that he wants you to have his skeletons while he’s in the danger zone.

Yes, Aidan, who some of you may know from Malta’s Junior Eurovision 2015 selection, has released a Eurovision 2017 mash-up that has gone viral in Eurovision circles. Bring out the guns: this guy is running on air to leave you breathless(ly)!

From Dihaj’s “Skeletons” to Francesco’s “Occidentali’s Karma” to, of course, Malta’s “Breathlessly”, he’s strung together twelve of this year’s songs. Naturally he does so in three minutes.

“Well my three favourites are Italy, Estonia and Sweden, so it was pretty easy to get it started,” he tells wiwibloggs. “All the other songs were fitting like a glove so the mashup was complete!”

He’s clearly an expert, so we just had to ask him to predict the Top 5.

“I think that Italy, Estonia, Sweden, Azerbaijan and Switzerland will fight against each other in the top positions – what a tough decision!”

Once again this tiny island is showing us its massive talent. Hopefully we’ll see Aidan at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest very soon!

This was interesting!

It really seems like there’s a sequence in the songs! It could be one song!

I didn’t know about Aidan! This guy can sing! I really liked it!
I would be glad to see him at Eurovision some time!

Not bad rather nice, he could have tried to sing a bit of Lindita’s song and show us his vocal abilities

This is mash-up is sweet rather than funny. I particularly like how he didn’t change any of the gender references in the songs – absolutely right. 🙂
Using the UK’s instrumental as the backing track was an odd choice; why not make it a happier mash-up? Anyhow, I like Aidan.

Yes, singing “bad girl” in “Skeletons” would be quite weird. “Bad boy” gives it an edge!

This just shows how flat and boring Skeletons’ chorus sound. Worst part by far.

I admit Apollo was more interesting than I thought.

The rest sound really good. And Occidentali’s Karma was the most memorable one once again as its the catchiest chrorus of this year (followed by Belgium and Estonia).
