Georgia unveils its “Shine Bright” slogan and logo for Junior Eurovision 2017

Junior Eurovision 2017 Georgia Logo Shine Bright

Tbilisi calling! The Eurovision Song Contest 2017 final is just one day away and today EBU officials opened Georgia’s doors to the world, unveiling the logo for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 which will be held at the Sports Palace on the 26th of November.

The logo mirrors a segmented sun that channels different colours and expressions through the power of joy and diversity.

GBP’s Executive Producer is extremely confident that Georgia has what it takes to successfully host the contest.

He said: “In Georgia, music is a part of everyday life and it is still considered to be an educational tool for kids. Hosting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest is a great honour and joy for many in Georgia and we are very happy to share our culture and see children from many European countries Shining Bright in Tbilisi this year.”

Concept and art director Luka Ivanidze wanted to create a symbol that represents Georgian culture, while encouraging to reach for the stars, just like Mariam Mamadashvili did last year in Malta with her song “Mzeo”.

“We created this symbol from sunny Georgia, hoping that it will strengthen each participant of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and inspires them to shine,” he says.

It’s the first time Georgia will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, after three victories in the competition and two failed bidding attempts. It’s your time, Georgia: let’s do this!

Neither Italy nor Portugal have yet confirmed that they will participate at JUNIOR Eurovision. So I think it’s a little bit early to predict a winner.. And to be honest.. Keyboardwarriors like you, who post the same lame Statements in every comment section (as if it would change the actual result which is yet to be confirmed) only make me vote against your Darling, because it annoys me. So.. more votes from me to Italy this evening. Congratulation, Anne.

Yikes! If Serbia, Israel, or even Macedonia withdraw, they’re in trouble. 🙁

I think Serbia and Macedonia will withdraw from contest . Serbia was last year at Junior Eurovision and stay in semi this year in adult Eurovision. Macedonia was one of fans contender for win but they flop last year at Junior Eurovision.
I don t think that we have debut countries . Maybe returns Croatia depends how Croatia will finished at adult Eurovision 2017.

The distance may be a problem for some countries.

And no matter what side of the scoreboard Armenia is on at the adult’s Eurovision, it’s only fitting that Armenia will be part of the Junior lineup, since that country is Georgia’s neighbor! 😉

Cool! It kinda reminds me a bit of the logo for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, but multicolored! 😀

Better than the ESC ones from recent years. Almost every year it is the same, come together, we are one, building bridges, celebrate diversity. Same trash sugarcoated in different words.

The Dansk Melodi Grand Prix logo looks nice for Junior Eurovision.
