She’s currently wowing the crowds at #WorldPride 2017 in Madrid, preaching the perseverance and hope of her Eurovision 2016 song “Say yay!”
And on Friday Barei reminded the world that she has no plans of slowin’ down as she released “Forget It”, which will appear on her forthcoming album.
The track taps into the summer lounge feel that’s been sweeping clubs across the continent for months. Barei delves into the genre through heartbreak, touching on the frustration she feels when her beloved seeks love elsewhere.
”Giving up on you baby!” she tells her wayward man. “Live it up with a lady! She won’t love you, Not the way that I do, No no no!”

”Forget it” is Barei’s follow-up to ”Wasn’t Me’,’ which she released just last week.
In that electro-lounge track, Barei sings about the trials and tribulations of love, and how she’s left disappointed after believing that a certain romance could flourish. The title makes it clear it wasn’t her fault things went awry — and the song becomes her digital reckoning.
Together the two tracks set the tone for her forthcoming album, which will no doubt play on themes of heartache in a digi-sound setting.
Barei plans on releasing another single next week, entitled “Worry Worry”, featuring the famous Spanish rapper and singer Porta.
