It’s the morning after the night before. And last night just happened to be Halloween, the spookiest date on the calendar.
As we reported yesterday, plenty of Eurovision and national final alums rose to the challenge. We had Iceland’s Greta Salóme as Maleficent, Norway’s JOWST as the Joker and Malta’s Amber as Wednesday Addams. Former Israeli national finalist Judah Gavra went above the cause and dressed up twice — first as a muscle-flexing bunny rabbit and then later as a half naked clown… if you got it flaunt it!
But over the course of the evening, even more song contest singers came out in full costume. We’re pleased to say that their sartorial trickery went down a treat. Here are some of the best.
Il Volo’s Piero Barone (Italy Eurovision 2015)
Emmelie de Forest (Denmark 2013)
Claudia Faniello (Malta 2017)
Zoë Straub (Austria 2016)
Getter Jaani (Estonia 2011)
Conchita Wurst (Austria 2014)
Ilinca (Romania 2017)
Cleo (Poland 2014)
Nathan Trent (Austria 2017)
Yes, we know it’s a filter. Spooky nonetheless.
Nina Kraljic (Croatia 2016)
Kurt Calleja (Malta 2012)
