On January 29, Amaia and Alfred shined bright after winning the OT Eurovision gala — owing partly to their song, but also to their undeniable chemistry. The slayage has not stopped. One week later, Spanish fans proclaimed Amaia the one and only winner of OT 2017. The queen up and snatched her crown.
But that’s not all. On Tuesday the couple proved everyone right again after hitting the big stage with their Eurovision entry for a second time. They performed their Eurovision song “Tu Canción” at the special fiesta gala to mark the end of OT 2017. And they served a proper — but nostalgic — Spanish fiesta.
The #OTFiesta meant the end of an amazing edition of the talent show. But it also marked the true beginning of their musical careers but and Almaia’s race to Eurovision. Vámonos amigos!
Amaia and Alfred – “Tu Canción” live at OT Fiesta’s gala
As seen in Tuesday night’s gala, major staging improvements were made in their performance. From no pianos to a new wardrobe, the young couple truly served tenderness at full power.
Their performance now looks even more intimate. Both artists begin in opposite sites of the stage until merging together after the first chorus. As approaching, you can see their full-of-joy eyes as they’re getting closer — not losing any eye contact. That chemistry and genuine connection are what truly make this performance really special – making the audience melt while dancing to the enchanting melody of their song – contestants included!
Tonight during the #OTFiesta, Alfred & Amaia unveiled cleaner, more contemporary staging for "Tu canción". They upgraded their wardrobe and ditched the piano. We wish them luck as they continue to experiment ahead of #Eurovision ?? pic.twitter.com/7JOdtvhGcO

Featuring their magic, stars and galaxies can be seen surrounding them in their LEDs – making his performance truly alluring. But still, the staging is truly minimalistic. There are no objects but two young and talented artists merging in joy and love. This song is calling for not much staging, just two voices, their genuine love and their chemistry. And gurl, they have it all!
Aren’t they adorable?
¡Feliz todos los días! ??

Love is in the air
And if we weren’t sure, #Almaia were officially confirmed as a couple, as Alfred declared his love for Amaia on OT! We’re really feeling the Almaia love now!
Alfred asked in the program if he could sing with Amaia — one last time in OT — the song where their love started.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrpTcmEyTqQ
It went like this:
Alfred: It’s been three months since I fell in love with Amaia.
(Audience screams in Spanish)
Alfred continues: And I wanted to tell her today that even if we couldn’t sing “City of Stars” tonight, since that song everything started happening to me, and I would like to sing “City of Stars” with you now. I don’t know if we can do it…
(Noemí Galera reacts pricelessly)
… Roberto Leal (host): I was frozen because I thought you were about to propose to her, I PROMISE!
Amaia: Me too. I was freaking out.
But the truth is, Alfred’s wishes finally came true and they did sing “City of Stars” last night! Was the show expecting this moment anyway?
In any case, notice that before singing, Alfred tells her – I love you! Aw!! Valentine’s Day never felt so good!
The OT Fiesta
All good things come to an end. But that also means new beginnings. As Formula TV reports, TVE could be thinking in renewing OT for a new edition this autumn.
For lots of people and fans, OT has been truly the programme we all have been waiting for. After 16 years since the first edition, OT was returning to Spanish TV with already a lot of hype flowing. But the programme definitely convinced and turned into wild phenomena. They not only brought back to Spain the power — and love — for the music but created tremendous success: top chart singles and album debuts, top Spotify songs, millions of plays on YouTube, worldwide trending topic on Twitter every day and even expanding the Spanish OT Tour that is about to start this March in Barcelona. Enough motives for a second part, aren’t they?
But after more than three months of glamorous galas, 24 channel addiction and pases de micro – OT officially closed its doors for now. However, we couldn’t just say goodbye without a proper party. And OT’s Gala last night tru-ly served it, including all-time best OT hits, a reunion of all 16 candidates and no jury nominations. All said, bring the music and let’s get this party started!
For this fiesta, the top three finalists (Amaia, Aitana and Miriam) sang a solo song and a duo:
- Amaia – “Shake it out“
- Aitana – “Issues”
- Miriam – “What about us”
- Amaia and Roi – “Shape of You”
- Aitana and Cepeda – “No puedo vivir sin tí”
- Miriam and Agoney – “Running”
While Alfred and Ana Guerra – fourth and fifth place respectively – could just sing a duo:
- Alfred and Marina – “Don’t Dream It’s Over”
- Ana Guerra and Mimi – “Don’t You Worry About the Thing”
The evening also included this year’s Eurovision song “Tu Canción” and three group performances by all 16 candidates. However, OT 2017 also held a vote between “City of Stars” and Eurovision hopeful song “Lo Malo” to complete the track list. Results of the poll show clearly who won it by a landslide.
Como la gala #OTFiesta ? será un martes 13, hemos decidido desafiar a las supersticiones y cantar 13 temas ? ¡Vosotrxs elegís el último!??
— OT 2017 (@OT_Oficial) February 9, 2018
And there’s no fiesta without Latin fever – no, no, no!
But in Alfred’s case though, he could also sing “City of Stars” with Amaia, which resulted in with a total of four songs for Amaia and three for Alfred. While some fans didn’t mind it, some others would have loved to see Ana War’s beloved anthem “La Bikina” – among the most watched performances of this edition.
Y LA BIKINA?
— Pan (@Desahogada) February 14, 2018
Que Ana no vaya a cantar 'La Bikina' que es uno de los himnos de esta edición me parece bochornoso. #OTDirecto9F
— Elegido (@Elegidx) February 9, 2018
But without any doubt, Roi and Amaia performed one of the funniest moments in last night’s gala before and while performing “Shape of You”. No spoilers, but is a must watch! The end is definitely worth it – and unexpected!
But what do you think about Amaia and Alfred’s new performance of “Tu Canción”? Do you like it more now than before? And would this performance influence the one in Lisbon? Tell us in the comment section below!

I have nothing against them, it’s a charming little couple to whom I wish all happiness possible. But their song dripping with sugar is just unbearable.
I am very sorry to say that, but this is an example of a song that I TRULY HATE from the first time I heard it. Everything here annoys me. I miss Pastora so much!!!
Loving all this controversy about that song. For me an indication that it will do very well.
It will do well because so many people hate it? Sure, great logic.
No my dear! It’s because there are many people loving it, as indicated by the polls, although keeping more silent, and very loud and assertive haters. I’ve seen this two years in a row now.
What controversy? There’s lots of hype and it will flop hard lol OH W8 Salvador won this will too!! shut up.
Oh my dear marc, or other nicknames you invent from your Romanian home, I know you wouldn’t resist my charm and come back to me… Actually the wiwi poll gave Salvador quite an avarage score… Bien à toi, mon chérie, you badly need it.
Hmmm wat. I aint romanian. Idk what you’re talking about either.
Also, nice try but i love Salvador and he was a fav from the start.
You need to take your meds, you badly need it.
Hmmm classy stuff… Thanks for looking after me. Indeed I need to take my Vitamine D
Ok… Thanks for the tip on the app.
i can easily see how one could be annoyed by this act, but I still find it endearing. Definitely an improvement over the initial performance.
Italy has started to really touch me so that makes three out of four from the Big 5 for me. The UK is the weak link so far. Now, it will be interesting to see if Germany is going to be the loose cannon for yet another year.
Italy is exceptional, France is original, Spain is lovely.
I’m not the biggest fan of the song, but I think their natural chemistry together will probably carry the song a bit further than I’d place it if it was two generic performers. Think of it, “Running Scared” had a similar vibe with two performers just thrown together with no prior chemistry and it somehow ended up winning (despite getting the lowest average score per country/jury for a Eurovision winner with an average of just 5.26). I think the minimalistic staging may serve them well. It’s definitely an improvement over “Do It for Your Lover”, though.
Right. Everybody else is throwing left and right the words ‘racist’ and ‘homophob”
We should do the same thing.
Only racists and heterophobes dislike this song.
Y’all are so lame lmao are heterosexuals and Spaniards oppressed in the real world? Get a grip.
Hate goes both ways. And the real world is not only the place you live. Everybody is a stranger somewhere.
If you don’t like this song, you are heterophob.
I’m playing the same card as lgbt.
what card, kiddo?
Those to microphones are really annoying.
*two not to
To be honest it`s the so-called chemistry that may be its ultimate downfall. The song is unremarkable although not ghastly but if they get any more “intimate” you might have to chase the kids out of the room. I applaud the unabashed romantics among you but seriously will juries and voters alike go for cute, loved-up juniors over a quality song and performance? I only hope they don`t have a bust up before May or it could end up as an Iberian version of the Czech Republic in 2015. Come to think of it a bit of bitter irony and… Read more »
BOOM!!!!! es turno de España, y… BOOM!!! más de 100 comentarios de amargadas existenciales machacando a España, haga lo que haga, lleve lo que lleve, que tristes sois, que pena…
BOOM !!!!! it’s Spain’s turn, and … BOOM !!! more than 100 comments of bitter existential crushing Spain, whatever you do, take what you wear, how sad you are, what a pity …
I’m starting to think that you have some serious pathological problem with Spain, poor people …
bitter ladies, buy you a life out of your frozen countries
Stop overselling us this song. Thanks.
It’s a Eurovision song! Eat it!!! ???
I like the song and their voice but some how the performance looks overact and funny .
“Tu canción” has a memorable melody and two well-matched performers. However, compared to previous Spanish entries since 2012 this one is my second least favourite. It’s better than last year’s entry, but that does not excuse the excessive sweetness that the song provides. It’s purely a matter of personal taste in terms of music, of course. In terms of how this will do in ESC, I actually don’t know. Spain has sent much more powerful songs in the past (2012, 2015, 2016) and not scored as highly as one might have expected. Perhaps a softer side might do them good.… Read more »
Finally an objective and uplifting comment from someone. Thank you,
This is so likely to become the ‘dissapointing fan favourite’… This is just a cheezy love song that could have gotten a decent placing in the nineties, somewhere just behind Ireland…
Spain is the ‘disapponting fan favorite’ almost every year lbr. If the Spaniards stopped showing so much unrealistic confidence in their chances at success, maybe their entries wouldn’t look like flops?
God forbid a country be excited to participate. What’s wrong with being happy with what you’ve got?
Omg. So many negative comments for this beautiful entry. I’m shocked. :O I think that it’s again the ballad thing, eurovision fans don’t like them for some wrong reasons. But I am sure it’s going to do really well in May. It feels honest.
And there’s nothing similar between this and last year’s winning song. That one was a masterpiece and I don’t think we will ever get the chance to listen something like that in eurovision again unfortunately. Forget about that.
Last year a masterpiece! Lol that’s trash compared to this
Okay, now I understand what’s my problem with this entry. It’s not her – she’s in fact quite good -, it’s not the song – which is cheesy, but bearable -, it’s definitely him. His voice sounds so scratchy and unpleasant in my ears and he is simply not on point with his timing. Plus somehow – Spanish fans will hate me for this, but it’s just my personal impression – they don’t fit together. I keep asking myself ‘what does she want from him?’. She seems like a confident independent woman and he, well sorry, looks just like a… Read more »
She is very strong on the stage but she doesn’t look like a very independent girl. She’s young, and she is going to trust on her brother during her career. It’s true that I think and he is more in love, but she loves his musician talent, he has written several songs while learning vocals, dances and rehearsing songs in the OT Academia, and they have connected a lot.
He is very special when singing, I can see your point about hs voice because it has happened to me too sometimes.
She looks super awkward on stage. And he looks more in love than her…
Interesting. Musically though, in the Chorus, Amaia has the melody and Alfred is singing a harmony line. So Alfred doesn’t need to be as strong as it is Amaia who is taking the “lead”. That’s where the song is being smart to cater for the singers. 🙂
wiwibloggs and the art of trying to create an hype about a song, last year occidentali’s karma, this year the spanish boring song………. I can respect all tastes but showing so much love about this entry, it starts to become too artificial and the reactions in the videos of the tops 3 are downright too much and almost ridiculous.
Love songs and fun songs have no place in AlJazeeraVision.
As satire goes.
I’m going to be very selfish right now. I don’t want Spain to win with THIS song. Spain always looks at Portugal as their ugly brother with comments like “If Portugal can win so can we” They end up sending a song way toooo similar to “Amar pelos dois” style.. Can you be less obvious?
I am sorry, but Amar Pelos Dois was magic. It is a more sophisticated composition that touches the deepest corners of our souls. The moment it was chosen, I wrote that it could win Eurovision (you can check my posts from last year).
I do not hate the Spanish song, but compared to Amar Pelos dois, Tu cancion fades, and looks forced and fabricated. I still think it will place decently, but no sorry, it will not win.
I couldn’t agree more – well said.
Thank you, Nick.
Lola, i suspect EBU might find a way to take them to top 5 because the arena will be 85% spaniards…If they get anything below 10th place they will boo. Just like they booed in the futsal game when they lost and gave Portugal the middle finger…lol the competition looks tough this year, i wouldnt call it a winner but…EBU wont let them score badly.
This makes no sense. EBU’s juries sabotaged Turkey in Azerbaijan.
How does it make no sense. Was the arena full of turks? Portugal doesnt have any other neighbor and spain has plenty of money to make it happen.
I can appreciate the ‘young, innocent love’ that everyone is talking about and I find the song pleasant, but that is it. I would not vote for it, and I would not download the song. My guess is it will do better than Amanecer, but worse than Quadete Conmigo. So maybe 12th-15th.
i love the song and their voice but i think tve esc team should teach Alfred how not uneasy on stage. looks funny.
Please keep it real and don’t listen to those heartless haters. I am absolutely hypnotized by their voices, the simple yet beautiful melody and the way they look at eachother. Just like Sobral or the Common Linnets did, they just create a whole athmosfere by themselves without the need of fireworks, pop divas, high notes or CGI (which I enjoy too of course) I think raw ‘in your face’ love is not for everyone, some people hate when people express their affection in public and others have never been in love. Some people don’t need anyone but themselves to be… Read more »
Did you just compare them with Common Linnets and Sobral…not even close 🙂
Personally I’m not a fan of the song, or the performance, but I also respect those who love it and enjoy it, just like I enjoy my favorite ones. The only thing I don’t like are these biased articles. I became diabetic just by reading a million uplifting adjectives: alluring, magical, powerful, tremendous, enchanting, glamorous…I could go on for days, while articles about chosen songs from other countries are way more neutral ( still with positive vibes, but not that exaggerated). I would love it if articles about Spain would be written by someone who is less subjective on the… Read more »

@Tekkne – ” I’m so sick of wiwibloggs trying to shove this down our throats.”
I’m sick of people trying to shove down our throats their songs about refugees and terrorists (I hope will be more than 2, just to see them cancelling each other).
songs about refugees and terrorists? I’m sick of xenophobes and homophones. People like you have no place in ESC.
Yes eye hate homophones two! Eye was like ate o clock in hour house is 10 pm and aye kept missing the hole show.
Kris, nice argument. I guess that’s the only thing you can do innit. Welp, those two songs will slay, baby boo.
There is no homophobe comment on this thread, are you saying that the song is homophobe because is about boy and girl?
Lol there’s lots of homophobes that watch ESC.
Found the racist scumbag!
Still waiting for Alfred and Amaia to film a music video for “Tu Canción”. Something needs to top the live performance!
please no… we already had enough of their exaggerated love story, we dont need a “50 shades of grey” music video
Jim, that was funny as hell.
Note: this is how a fan writes a story.
A bit too much.
I was thinking exactly the same thing while I was reading it!
Robyn, be real. LOL
There’s a difference between a normal fan and a fan on steroids! France or Italy are the most loved songs at the moment, even among wiwibloggs writers, but I don’t see any of you praising them to the sky, while this is happening with Spain’s entry. I understand you need Spanish views and clicks, but some moderation please. Don’t make it so obviously forced.
Awful, cringy….
BUT THE GAYS ARE THROWING DOWN OUR THROATHS THEIR GAY PROPAGANDA.
Yeah, that’s how I imagine what would have been if…
If they were two men?
Yeah. But this is “so sweet”.
Diabetically sweet.
Was always wondering where the ‘War’ part of Ana War came from? Is it just a shortened name for Guerra? Since this is likely the last OT post I was just curious about it! Thank you for any responses in advance 🙂
Guerra means War in Spanish. It’s a common Spanish surname.
Considering I took Spanish for 7 years I should’ve been able to realize that lol thank you for the clarification as it was bugging me!
Wow!
The song “Tu canción” is simply magical. The OTfiesta performance is much improved than the Eurovision gala performance and is a good example of what the performance should look like to get the desired effect and get a good result at Eurovision. The chemistry between the pair is just enough and doesn’t appear forced. It looks authentic. I was quite simply mesmerized from start to finish.
.
I am sold. The one to beat at the moment.
It looks better now, but they still need to work on the guy.
Wiwibloggs post article about “Tu canción”
me: watches performance, see it’s the same freaking performance but the girl’s dress is blue.
also me: post comment, then go back to listen “Sea of Flags”… proudly.
🙂
I don’t get why some people keep comparing this song to “Amar pelos dois”. Salvador’s performance was completely different. Yes, it was a ballad, sung in a language different than English, but there is so much more to it! Salvador was permorming on a small stage, he was very peaceful and quiet, yet he managed to catch everyone’s attention. “Tu cancion” is a nice song, but it looks like every other duet in my opinion. The songs are completely different.
Their performance of “City of Stars” is just MAGIC! <3 <3
I decided to force myself to listen to this song one more time and… I still don’t care. At least their vocal performance was on point this time. But beautifuly sung boring song is still boring. No, this is still at the bottom of my list. But at least now I know both of them are good singers.
the performance of Lie to me in ukraine was a thousand times more interesting than this……
This staging is light years ahead of the OT gala one (and the clothes!!! Yasss ditch the office clothes!!!), and so are their voices. But I guess it was to be expected, since they’ve had some more time to rehearse and try things with their staging.
a simple duet as we can see everyday in every countries in every tv sows, the song is bad and boring, the love story is artificial and is crated for teenagers, people who are in LOVE with this lol, you have never seen anything!!!!! go out of your poor brain and watch around you, you will see yourself that this song is nothing else than a poor cheesy song with cheesy singers, and the hype around this is based on nothing…… just created by pathetic spanish teenagers fans of OT2017.
…in every tv sHows….
…..is crEated for teenagers…..
“the love story is artificial and is created for teenagers”… you are probably one of those people who thought Salvador’s illness was artificial too. I bet you love talking things you don’t know. Lovely
What the f does Salvador’s illness has to do with this? Their love may be real but it looks cheesy and corny af.
why people always talk about salavador sobral ? what is the relation between him and my comment? esra you are ridiculous in trying to defend this song in all possible way,
Its funny, they dont wanna be called copy cats but they’re always mentioning sobral and using him as an argument. Aint it ironic?
Also, call me crazy, but it might be fun if Eurovision had a “non-participant jury,” like a televote for countries that watch but don’t participate (I.e. the USA, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Canada, China, etc) so they can at least have some level of involvement (based on American diaspora, I’m seeing love for UK, Australia, Spain, Israel, Armenia, maybe Russia).
I agree completely! I feel very left out here in USA!
They made it even better! I give 12 points that mean nothing cuz I’m American and can’t vote. (Insert obligatory “thank goodness for that”)
The chemistry between those two is amazing and will be an important part of the whole act. But maybe they are stretching it too far or too early on. I kind of liked the pianos idea, gave some additional element to the staging. Maybe they should look a little bit more to the camara… Dresses were so much better, but that isn’t difficult. But I would go for something more youthful and casual to counterbalance the sweetness element and stress the ‘young love’ theme.
I notice a pattern. Apologists of this song defend it because of the “chemistry.” I really wonder to which demographic this so called “chemistry” is appealing to. I imagine it to be teenagers and young adults who crave that supposed “romance” in their own lives and so they project on them. I’m amost possitive it’s the same demographic who voted for this song in OT (unfortunately, because there were better options). So, okay, I get that the so called “chemistry” is what makes this entry so appealing to many. But I have yet to see an argument vouching for this… Read more »
Thanks for your interesting comment. Yes I won’t exclude that the demographics can make part of it. But I would also include middle aged to older viewers who see this innocent couple as an ‘old fashioned’ love affair, as it once used to be. The simplicity and yes, I admit, the old fashioned vibe, of the song is part of the package. I guess these two groups make up already a great part of the televoters. Personally, and not being part of any of those groups, I think musically is not an abosolute masterpiece, but it is very pleasant melodically… Read more »
“Apologists”. The way you talk about it, it’s like they were commiting a crime just by singing an innocent romantic ballad. Calm down, it’s just a song. Some people like it, some people don’t. Also, there’s a big space between love and hate. People should try it sometimes. You said on another comment that it should show more finesse and I agree with you on that. It’s definitely corny if you don’t buy it. But there are other 42 songs on the contest. There’s no need for everyone to like every single entry. Find those you like, vote for them… Read more »
I have a very Edurne feeling for this song. A lot of high hopes from the Spanish, but is a definitive bottom.
The song is very blunt, and the guy makes things worse…..
I can’t see it placing any higher than bottom 5.
I think it depends on how many songs like this one ESC2018 will have. Too many slow ballads -> depends on the running order. Just a few of them -> the strongest ones will stand out.
Juries may be like this song is as dated as Amar pelos dois! we gave it 12 points last year so in order to keep authenticity we must give this song 12 too!
They might end up winning jury vote for all we know.
I have to agree with you on that one
I mean the last part, of course… 🙂 ehehe
Lmaooo as if the juries would vote for this cheesy mess. They destroyed Verona, what makes you think they’re going to like this? If anything, I can see this bottoming the jury vote!
What is it about this song that causes so many people to become so pissy? I, personally, think that their chemistry and passion overcomes whatever shortcomings the song may have.
Well, I’d rather listen to a cheesy OTT love song than a flat, emotionless love song. These two have chemistry, whether you think its too melodramatic or not, and that’s a plus compared to most love duets, where the two singers have little to no connection.
Michael, this is the first Eurovision season I’m actually reading comments (maybe it will be the last one…) and I’m under the impression that spanish fans were very excited about their previous efforts (and showing that on the site polls) and this may had brought some animosity towards them. People from Spain are very passionate when they love (or hate) things, maybe this doesn’t translate to other cultures very well. I can’t affirm that’s the case, but it’s just something I felt by reading the comments on every post about the spanish selection.
It’s from Spain, which as I’ve learned, makes plenty of people automatically hate it. Also there was another song in the running which is a reggaetón but it didn’t win, so some other people are mad about that.
I think it’s just a catch 22. People hate it because it’s from Spain because Spanish fans are so obnoxious every year and act like any song that Spain sends is a masterpiece. So I’m sure that that in itself and having no notion of self-criticism annoys a lot of Eurofans from other countries, and in turn makes them hate Spain at Eurovision automatically.
OMG! That’s so not true though. They were hating on their own entry last year. They were literally asking ppl to not vote for Spain and that it deserves 0 pt. They are supporting this song bcuz it IS a beautiful song and the singers are very cute, they are loved in Spain thanks to that show they took part. It’s understanding why spanish ppl loves them so much, so do I and I am not even spanish and not even close to them.
That was the only year they’ve done that, and it was only because Mirela didn’t win with her awful song.
Awww… so sweet 🙂
I love it. They are so adorable and the melody is very beautiful. They are going to do well no matter what some fans think. 🙂
Can’t they change the male singer or turn off his Mike and make a backing singer put in vocals! His nasal voice is destroying whatever mood the girl puts me in!
I think this has the potential of being a good song if they eliminate the lyrics and get rid of the singers. And maybe add some drums. And a saxophone.
Ugh. Stop trying to make Spain happen. It’s not going to happen. It’s a terrible kitsch song that’s corny af. I’m so sick of wiwibloggs trying to shove this down our throats. You guys know it’s bad. What’s driving you to promote it left and right? It just makes you come across as a little questionable, to be honest.
That’s your opinion, lots ignore people including me love the song, everyone has different opinions just chill out, jeeez
Huh? Strong contender?
Robyn, don’t disappoint us.
We all know it’s gonna end up bottom 5.
lol I made a critical comment about this song on one of their YouTube videos and they banned me from posting in their YouTube channel
>What’s driving you to promote it left and right? Tekkne, because if they don’t do it, The spaniards will go crazy and insult the wiwibloggs team. And they’ll lose a bunch of views too. Spaniards are super proud of their entry this year and if anyone dares to criticize it, you’ll have the whole country going after you. That’s why Padraig has been holding back even though he has always hated the song. They’re trying to make a second Salvador happen, just because you were right about one winner it doesn’t mean that it’ll happen again…but i wish them good… Read more »
Lmao my best friend and her mom are Spanish and they both think this song is awful. Not all Spaniards are delulu.
Al seriously? lmao
I would prefer an improved song.
…ohwait, you can’t polish a turd.
What a cliché
The song? Yeah, I agree.
No. The turd thing. It’s smelly
*rolling eyes* my country will gave 12 points to them by televote…
And I will proudly contribute for that to happen honey!
Yes! 😀 I’m with Gongas on this one.
maybe the 12 points from televote will contribute to spain say bye to bottom. But Spanish song for me is between 15-5 position. The spanish song has “none” instrumental breath, and I love the instrumentals breaks. I really want a different winner, but following Jamala/Salvador victory, did you understand? :/
PWAHAHA you will contribute with your vote?? the portuguese jury will KILL this, specially if estonia LA FORZA wins, and because they will think it’s too similar to Sobral and if Estonia ‘LA forza’ wins. You can bet that our 12 points won’t go for this, the competition is strong this year and there’s gonna be lots of good ballads and diversity.
And you can vote all you want but the grannies and grandpas, which consists of basically 80% of portugals society will vote for La forza while most younger adults will vote for denmark lol
Not to mention the “intellectual” musicians will fall in love with Estonias entry pretty hard.
In fact, i have NO doubt that the portuguese televote will give its 12 points to Estonia, may i remind you that one of our finalists in The voice was an opera SINGER that won the televote every single time lol Just watch!!!
Me too 100%
What Spain needs to figure out is what to do with them before they meet on the stage. When they are together, the chemistry is undeniable. They are cute as puppies. But if they get united very early, what’s cute can become cheesy very quickly. Spanish people may love seeing them together all the time, but on the other countries their background love story doesn’t count. I agree with Jordi that this is a song that requires simple staging. Those yin-yang pianos facing each other weren’t a good option (and please, dress them like last night, not with that office… Read more »
