surie london eurovision party 2018

We don’t even have half of the Eurovision 2018 songs — but attention is quickly turning to the next “stage” of the pre-contest excitement. The Eurovision pre-parties are some of the most anticipated events of the year for fans. Riga kicks the celebrations off on March 24, but the London Eurovision Party follows soon on April 5.

Thursday is definitely the new start to the weekend, y’all. This morning, the team at LEP confirmed their headline act as well: the UK’s own SuRie!

In recent days, we’ve heard that SuRie will indeed be revamping “Storm”. So there’s every chance that fans in attendance at the Café de Paris will be the first to hear the new version live!

SuRie joins a list of five confirmed acts for the show so far. Joining her on stage will be Albania’s Eugent Bushpepa, Austria’s Cesar Sampson, France’s Madame Monsieur and Ireland’s Ryan O’Shaughnessy.

It’s already looking like a great lineup y’all, with many acts sure to follow.

Of course, as ever the tickets for the London Eurovision Party flew off the shelves. The show is currently sold out, but there’s always a chance of some last-minute tickets becoming available. We’ll be sure to shout out if that happens!

Think: This could be the last LEP where EU citizens can come without needing a visa. (I think about these things.)
This should be an amazing night. 🙂

Sad. We used to build bridges, now we are building walls.

If the revamp somehow ends up like Selena Gomez’s “Wolves”, that would be a step further from the cheesy form it is currently in. Bar that, she should just keep her song (PS, not even a fan of Selena, but her song sounded cooler than this)

I love SuRie short haircut, it can be an article about female singers with short hair (pixie cut). I bet many are from early decades, because these days women don’t have the courage to cut their hair, or they just use hair extensions. Sad that not many women feel confident nowadays with pixie cut.
