London Eurovision Party 2018 Details and Tickets
London Eurovision Party 2018 is set to take place on Thursday 5th April at 19:00 GMT. The Café de Paris will play host once again to the event.
A handful of tickets are still available, starting at £65. If you’re in the area on Thursday and want to come along, you can purchase tickets here.
This year marks the 11th consecutive year that the London Eurovision Party has taken place. It has quickly become a must-stop location for many Eurovision acts during their promo tour and gives us one of our first indications of who may surprise with their live performance at the actual contest in May.
For more information about the pre-party head over to the official London Eurovision Party website or Facebook page.
I’ve just read the following on the official facebook account:
“Dear friends!
We would like to let you know that, because of some technical issues, Eugent Bushpepa will not be part of the promotional tour for Eurovision 2018 in:
Tel Aviv, Amsterdam and Madrid
even though RTSH has confirmed his attendance 2 months ago.
In the meantime the preparations for the final performance in Lisbon continue to intensify further to bring a simple and emotional performance at the Eurovision 2018 stage on the 8th of May.”
Hey, wasn’t Eugent at LEP? I wanted so long for his performance 🙁
waited*
No, he wasn’t there. Check London Eurovision Party instagram. They already closed the party. SuRie was the last one.
Mine too 🙁 I thought I was in for a treat with his performance tonight, but nope 🙁 I wonder why didn’t he go!
That’s not the right attitude! His live vocals are amazing, but people who have only watched the official video don’t know that. Singing live like he did at The voice Kids, I think would make a lot of people appreciate him and his song more. Especially in London, where he would get so much visibility from Wiwibloggs.
He was absent due to some visa issues?
I put a ? by mistake.
He had some troubles with UK visa, that’s why he was absent. Be hopefully he will be in Israel.
Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that 🙁 Why wouldn’t they give visas to artists?
To Equinox: How do you feel beyond the bones? Are you spiritual people?
To Eugent: Will you marry me?
haha just kidding?
My question is: Have you followed Eurovision in the recent years and what is your opinion on the winner of the last year.
To Gromee: you are dj and producer. What song from eurovision 2018/ song in general would you like to revamp? Lukas, was is weird to hear swedish (because Isabelle) in Poland while you were surounded by Polish fans?
To Eugent:
What is your favourite song of all time and why?
Please don’t ask Eugent any questions because you don’t like the song.
Maybe there are some hidden fans of him out there that we don’t know of 😉 Regardless of the result in May, I can’t wait to see him perform during these pre – parties! The main reason why I follow wiwibloggs now 🙂
This comment doesn’t make any sense, Anita, lol
Are you referring to Deban’s uninspired reaction (rock… rock… rock…)?
What do you mean, Anita, lol 🙂 They don’t have to like it, of course, there are many of us who like it 😉
Yes, it made me really a little bit frustrated, when you don’t like a song you can despite of that recognize the strong points, like his vocals, his artistic attitude, the originality or something.
at least as a wiwijury member this capability of recognition should be possibel, don’t you think
Hey, why not ?! I love him & I’m very interested to his answers.
To Rasmussen: Will you have plans for a “Higher Ground” music video after Eurovision?
For Vanja-
What is your outfit going to be like in the semi-final? Also, is there going to be a lady with you on the stage? I wish you the best!!!
SuRie-
How are you going to improve your staging from you decide to the Eurovision Stage!?
To Amaia and Alfred: are there going to be more people than you to on stage? Will we see the sign language couple with you?
I second whoever said we should get an interview with Felix and Benjamin together, they have such a nice friendship #sandgrosso.
Also for Felix, will he continue to come back to Melfest until he wins and goes to Eurovision? What does Eurovision mean to him and how was his experience watching it as a child? Also, will FO&O ever reunite, or at least do some shows together once in a while? (Gotta Thing About You is a bop)
To Eugent:
Why did you cut your beautiful hair?
My question is for Eugent, who does he consider his competition the most and why?
Also, for Equinox, do they get along with each other well? Have they ever met before they became the common framework?
WHAT DOES GGY IN LIE TO ME STAND FOR?! Love the song but I can’t stop thinking about this one. 😀
its just a bad copy of i g g y by iggy azalea which she used in every song of herself.
To Suzy: Emanuel or Luísa Sobral? 😀
to Mikolas. Was it hard to write and produce your song by your own? why is it so similar to Jason Derulo , talk dirty to me . And why you say GGY because its similar to I G G Y used by Iggy Azalea .
SuRie-
1: What’s your idea of dress for the final?!
2: Lucies staging last year was great! What ideas have u come up With?!
For Cesar:
How do you think your experience as a backing singer will help you this year?
How are you going to make that leap from backing singer to lead vocalists?
Will your staging be inspired by the visuals in your music video?
Do you personally connect with the song in anyway?
And tell him i love him and the song and I’m wishing him all the best in Lisbon <3
Question to Eugent:
Who should represent Albania in ESC 2019?
Good luck from Kosovo 🙂
to IEVA :
will you sing a verse of your song in lithuanian in the eurovision like in eurovijos atranka’s final ?
To Eugent Bushpepa: how do you feel about the fact that people consider you one of the most handsome men this year?
have you been following Eurovision before? if yes what is your favourite song from the past editions? did you like salvador’s song last year?
To everyone:
– What are your favorite songs among the other contestants? Apart from your own entry, which song in your opinion deserves to win most and why?
Yes. Please ask them if they listened to all the other songs and if they have personal favourites.
For Zibbz: Do you feel pressured because of Switzerland’s results in recent years? Can you give a tip if the stage will be similar to NF? Tell them that I love them and I hope Switzerland goes back to the final !!!!
I hope for an interview whith Felix and Benjamin together.
@ Rasmussen –
Do you think Tormund will die or not in Game of Thrones Season 8?????
🙂
To Benjamin
What’s the focus. US or the Européen market.
People compare your performance whith, Justin T, Justin B, Micael J, George Michael. Are you inspired of them and what do you think about that?
Question for Suzy: Will you be in the arena in May and will you be making a guest appearance?
Question for Jessica Mauboy: Will this be your first time visiting Portugal?
Message for Jessica Mauboy: Many of us here in Canberra, Australia love you and wish you the best of luck! #WEGOTLOVE
To eugent: can you please withdraw from eurovision right now?? You’re way too good for the kind of voting and rules this contest has!!
No, no, no, he should stay and SLAAYYY everyone on May, 8th! He might not qualify because the semi is so tough and his RO isn’t really good but one thing is certain: he will give the best performance that night!
Exactly, I am sure he will give the best performance of the night ( he has fricking performed with Ron “bumblefoot” Thal, ofcourse he slays) but what for? A songcontest that will never appreaciate music, but money and politics??!! That’ irritating
To Rasmussen: Do you consider incorporating some of the LOTR or GoT imagery in your performance? It’s epic either way! To Michael Schulte: I love your song very much, I almost cry when I hear it. How did you decide to go with such a deep personal story? To Vanja: Veliki pozdrav iz Hrvatske! Pjesma mi je odli?na i atmosferom me podsje?a me na bajke i romane 19.st. Je li takva ‘vibra’ bila ciljana? PS. Šahovnica iz spota je zakon, razmisli o mogu?nosti ubacivanja ne?eg sli?nog u nastup jer bi moglo biti jako upe?atljivo. To Madame Monsieur: I adore your… Read more »
*Correction (For Madame Monsieur) – Were you disappointed that SOME people….
*Yeah, I forgot that Wiwibloggs translates some Slavic letters into ?, so my question for Vanja (In English) would be was the vibe reminding of fairytales and 19th century novels intended? PS. I said I love the song and think that some chessboard imagery from the video could be very striking if he goes that way in live.
Mikolas Josef: Will some of the amazing dancers, like Leová Thuy Ly, from the music video be on stage in Lisbon as well?
To ALFRED AND AMAIA.
WILL YOU SIMULATE LIKE FLIYING AT THE END OF YOUR LISBON PERFORMANCE LIKE IT HAPPENS ON THE VIDEO JUST WHEN THE SONG GOES HI?
To Ieva: Will you perform the bilingual version of your song in Lisbon?
Nicki French- ‘Teardrops on the disco floor’ was a great bop! Should of charted well in the U.K. My question is what do you think about UK national final? Would you consider it again? Suzy- Quero ser tua should of be the international hit! Why did you not participate in the Portuguese national final this year? And is an album ever going to appear? Stella- Please bring some African vibe to Eurovision!! Would you ever consider convince EBU to let Kenya join the contest for a year, so that you can represent Kenya, if Norway refuses to send you again?… Read more »
To Eugent: What is the single thing you like the most about ESC and the one you dislike the most?
Sweden:
Ask Benjamin and Felix about the time when Felix lived whith Benjamin in LA. Did they wrote music together. Did they hang out whith Sebastian Ingrosso?
They have bouth been bullied as kids, is that the reason for their friendship.
Felix has been throu a difficult time last six mounth after the brake up whith his girlfriend. How has Benjamin been as a friend.
They write songs from their own lives after breakups. How does their ex girlfriends react.
To Felix Sandman: you competed with FO&O at Melfest last year. Do feel any difference on stage now that you are a soloist?
To Stella & Alexandra: Stella why did you decide to pursue a career as a rapper now? also your 2011 song was one of the favorites to win leading up to the contest so how did you manage to cope with the pressure? For Alexandra, any chance we’ll see you back on MGP and eventually representing Norway like your friend Stella? 😉
To Felix Sandman:
Will you consider competing again on Melodifestivalen?
To Gromee & Lukas:
Why did Poland decide to shoot the videoclip in Barcelona instead of doing it in your country?
Thank you!
(About Gromee and Lukas Meijer).
Poland did not decided anything. The video was made before the song become Poland’s Eurovision song.
It happened quite by chance. The artists were on a vacations, they though it was beautiful there and just said “hey, why don’t we make a video here and now?”
To Alfred and Amaia: what do your prefer to unite Europe in a single soul, music or show?
Sleden: This is The best inteview whith Benjamin i enlish.
https://youtu.be/OlWX00ID86M
Ask about his dream to be an actor and to play batman.
To Equinox:
Congrats guys, your project is something beyond this world. It’s touching and powerful, something different and yet so perfect. Do you believe in real love and how you can keep it alive and go beyond the bones?
To Eugent:
I absolutely love how the use of traditional clothes (fustanella – is that the term?) in your music video gives it a distinct Albanian identity! Do you often use traditional/folksy elements in your creative process?
To Michael:
Do they already have some possible Baby names he can share with us? 😀 And tell him “Congratulations”!
Jessika ft. Jennifer: Can you tell us (briefly) how the staging will look like on May?
Ari: Recently you’ve received a lot of support regarding your incident after Söngvakeppnin, how do you feel about it?
Rasmussen: Will you consider making more singles after Eurovision?
Vanja Radovanovic and SuRie: What is the message behind your song?
And to all participants: What is your most favourite ESC entry?
To stella and Alexandra
1)What made them decide to not withdraw From MGP despite knowing that it was all but a farce?
My question to all the participants :
1)What is their favorite song(1 song) from ESC 2018?
2)According to them, what makes a song a Eurovision winner?
3)What is their favorite Eurovision entry from their country?
To Eugent:
If you had to switch genres what would you choose instead of rock?
Thank you WWB for this chance.
To Jessica Mauboy and SuRie:
Which other contestants are you most anxious to meet?
To Equinox:
Do you have any intentions to go on with this project after Eurovision, maybe an album or concerts?
To Alfred and Amaia:
Would you like OT to have a 2018 edition? What would you recommend to any artist interested in becoming part of OT? Do yo think it would be nice to replicate this idea in other countries?
To all: Is there something/someone you think of while singing you Eurovision entry? To Alfred and Amaia: You’re both earning fans from all over the world for your Eurovision song. (hi from PH!!) The betting odds also rank you in the top 10 (if I’m correct..)! Do you think this is a headstart to your Eurovision journey? Why or why not? To Jessica Mauboy: Before Eurovision, you really had a successful career in Australia, won lots of awards and became a well-known singer there. Do you think that this can give you an advantage in your journey? If not, what… Read more »
To Eugent: 1. Who are the artists that have inspired you during your career as a rock singer?
2. What’s the most important thing you want to achieve during this Eurovision experience?
For your 2nd question, in an interview for an albanian television he said that he would be very happy to make it well in the semi final. He said that he will give his maximum and that is all he asks from his self and from the song
